Roca Bar

Best pizza in Evansville.

Don't let the location or the building deter you, Roca Bar serves some of the best pizza in the area!  First of all, the restaurant and the decor are nothing special, I don't think much has changed in the past 20 or so years I've been eating here.  Start off your meal with their Italian Salad, it is amazing.  A small can feed several people-the bowl comes filled with lettuce, pepperoni, ham, cheese, egg, green olives, etc. and is drenched in their house dressing.  My favorite salad anywhere by far! The pizza is great too, the crust is super thin and very crispy, and they load it up with toppings.  It can get pretty busy on the weekends, so you may want to make a reservation.

By Evansville standards, this place is as good as it gets. The salad is great. The sausage is great. The atmosphere in the place is great.

If you are looking for a thick crust, you won't care for the place. But if you love the thin crisp crust, it gets no better than Roca Bar in Evansville.
