I recently had a 30th Birthday party and wanted a local place to cater it. Â We had started ordering from Pizza Mia for a few weeks prior as we noticed they had a homemade buffalo wing sauce as well as garlic parmesan wings. Â My wife and I immediately fell in love with the homemade sauce and loved to have the very delicious garlic parmesan wings. Â The Margarita pizza was also delicious. Â I decided to go with Pizza Mia to cater the party and was very pleased with the food and the price. Â They were extremely prompt when delivering and the delivery guy even set up the items on my kitchen table to make sense. Â I will continue to go to Pizza Mia not only for their amazing food, but for the extremely great service they offer!!! Â Thank you for making it easier to turn 30!
Review Source:We recently moved to the area and tried a few pizzerias that were average, nothing outstanding, tolerable. Â I searched on Yelp and found wonderful reviews of Pizza Mia and decided to give it a try, especially since the other places weren't anything special. Â Well, Pizza Mia was just what I was looking for. Â The variety of pizzas alone is wonderful. Â They keep quite a selection of ready-to-go items for those who don't want to order a full pie. Â
We've been eating there regularly for a while now and have made our way thought the pizza menu. Â We love the pizza so much we haven't gotten to the entrees yet :)
They also offer gluten-free or homemade whole wheat crust. Â Haven't tried the GF, but the whole wheat is excellent.
going home usually meant getting ABC or J &F. Â This year it was suggested we try Pizza Mia. Â good pie. Â Get the "Grandma's Pie" Â nice size, perfect ingredient mix not overdoing anything like cheese or sauce. Â
too bad this place is in this ugly strip mall. Â i used to sleigh ride on this property from the Epiphany school.
This is a fairly new Pizza place that my parents suggested I try. Over the holiday as I was spending more time at the rents' house I figured I would take the quick run down and give their stuff a try. It's tucked away in a new mini-mall at the corner of Union Ave and Windsor Highway. To be honest it's a horrible location and I will be interested to see how well they do there.
The pizza was very good. The only problem I had was the pie was not cooked as long as I would have liked. I asked for well done because I prefer a crispy crust but it was sorta floppy. haha. I guess with it being Friday night near the holidays they just rushed the pie along. I really don't care because the pizza as I said was better than the majority of places around the new windsor area. Their menu features many heroes and other traditional italian dishes.
Bottom line: If you want to try a new pizza place I would suggest Pizza Mia. If you want a crispy crust however...show up about 10 mins late.
