Caught a quick bite right before a concert @ the Keswick. Service was very courteous and efficient, although kitchen a bit slow at first, probably due to theater crowd. Roast beef sandwiches were spectacular. My favorite beer on tap - Dogfish Head 90 min. Overall great little spot in hip atmosphere.
Review Source:We always have a great time when we visit Plush! Â It is true that evenings when there are no shows at the Keswick Theater is better...less people traffic, less waiting, etc. Â Hub and I go on a Friday usually around 4:30 p.m. and it is great...we literally have the place to ourselves at times...went with another couple and we had a blast! Â The bartender J is fantastic! Â Food is always good, prices good! Â Great hang-out!
Review Source:I love Plush! Â They have delicious food, attentive bartenders, and CLEAN bathrooms! Â As if this isn't enough, the place is oozing with style...hats off to Sharisma the co-owner and her artistic abiltity! Â That being said, lets not leave out the other eye-candy...thats right, there always seems to be service with a smile and one thats always easy on the eyes! Â
O, and one last thing...the hand made bar covered in local pics is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(especially that hot Wonder Woman chick!)
Been going to Plush for years and I'm a big fan of the owners Sheri and Bruno, however, it is completely bewildering that they don't greet people when they come in the door. Â I'm not talking about regulars like me, but rather, folks who stumble in from the Keswick Theater and have no idea what to do. Â Restaurant Business 101: Greet the patron. Â Say something nice to them. Â Then, do something with the menu. Â There are some good items on there but it's time to revamp, evolve. Â Challenge your cook to create a new menu that will attract and keep customers or ask him to move on. Â Maybe he needs a break. Â One last thing, fire that waitress that never smiles: Chloe. Â She should be an executioner in another century.
Review Source:Many local Glensiders still remember the dive that occupied the building years ago, but the Plush is one of the best pubs and eateries that 19038 has to offer. Â The beer selection is excellent. Â The menu is creative and excellent. Â They serve great martini's, but don't stereotype them as a martini bar.
Review Source:It's not an upscale joint or a dive. It just is.
I've gone to this place almost every tuesday night for the last two years. Their tuesday night special is great and the place is flexible enough to fit a group of 4 or a group of 12. Everyone who works there is friendly as well.
They've recently redone the floors and it looks great. The place is a lot brighter now.
Yelpers definitely steered me right on this one! Went to a show at the Keswick and wanted some place close by to get a decent meal and a drink beforehand. Plush was perfect for this! Super cute and cozy bar with really friendly and attentive staff. It seems like a regulars kind of place, but we weren't treated like outsiders. Decent selection of beers on tap and a very well priced food menu that had more to offer than just burgers and fries. If I ever get back to Glenside, I would stop by again!
Review Source:This a hip little place for dinner or drinks. The decor is dark and loungy and overall it's a comfortable place to pass some time. The three times I've eaten there I've had tasty burgers or salads. Â Be aware that this is one of the few places to go for dinner before a show at the Keswick, so the level of business can fluctuate a lot depending on the theater schedule.
Review Source:Its kinda a lounge, it's kinda a sports bar. Not sure the owners want to separate the two. Their world may just revolve around lounging, sports and serving us food and beverage. They have a big menu of bar food prepared with care. Each items is special. You may order a grilled cheese, but you get a mouthwatering masterpiece. The waffle fries (Plush Fries) are so good, you'll try to make them yourself, but fail. This place really cares.
Good time, cozy atmosphere, gets crowded late, especial on show nights at the Keswick. Which may be your thing. They cater to everyone.
