    Short & Sweet.
Myself: Early 50's Biker Chick. Typical "struggling" income but wanting overall
place for music, good food and realistic drink prices.
Attended the 6/30/13 3 Band Blow Out: StoneLeighs, Texas Flood, Blaze of Glory
Overall a nice experience!! Traveled from Duncanville Tx area (40 miles)
Food ; awesome (Blackened Chcken & Shrimp) Price:13.00 For the quality worth it.
Plus Pitchers available : A little High: Coors Light 12.00 .  Ice Cold, fresh cold glasses each time. Acceptable price for it's decor and live music.
A Three band night I went a little over budget but wasn't shocked with prices.

Now the music / Bands:  Set-up quick. Overall sound good to maybe a little too loud for the size of the place but very enjoyable. Its a Shame Blaze of Glory lost the crowd (Last Band on and a Sunday night ). They gave it their best for the few still there.

Service : Staff : helpful with questions. Our Waitress Paige overall a pleasure.
Frisco folks are very lucky to have a place like this. Duncanville has crap nothing for adults to have meal ,brews & music. We have fast food crude or BORING Resturaut chains.

Now in reviews most folks never mention a very important factor : PARKING!!!!
What a dream come true REAL PARKING !! Also a nice area for my Ironhorse.

Overall Layout:  Very nice functional . Loved the "railway" tunnel to the billards.
Patio nice simple & close to the Band stage.

I hope your business is a  big success !!
If you want to expand please come to Duncanville we have plenty of empty Business areas with plenty of Parking !!

The food portions were pretty generous for the price. I had the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich (grilled) - it would've been awesome if it had more sauce on it (it seemed like it had only been brushed on during grilling) and if the accompanying fries had been salted, but it was still pretty good.

As a visitor from out of town, I wanted to try a Texas beer and I found it strange that the bartender didn't know which beers were local. There were only about a dozen beers on tap, so I wouldn't think it would be that hard to keep them straight, but whatever.

The best part of the night was the band The Red's. They kicked ass and played a HUGE variety of genres and decades. It was perhaps a bit excessively loud, but maybe that's just the curmudgeon in me coming out.

Gave Pub in Frisco another chance and was pleasantly surprised.  The drinks were very affordable and the entertainment was really good.  We went last night and saw Downtown Fever and had a blast.  The bartender was pretty hilarious.  The first drink was the house rum which was gross and I had to pay a dollar more for Captain but the price for a captain and coke was still reasonable in my opinion.  Wish there was more room on the dance floor area.  It might be helpful if they had more high tops with bar stools instead of full tables to help with the crowding on the side with the band.  But all in all I'll  be back!

This is my Cheers. I am here every Tuesday night, and I also show up on other random nights when there are good shows or if I need a fix. Tuesdays at 9pm, Big Daddy takes the stage. You'll hear everything from Bon Jovi to Bruno Mars, Dwight Yokam to Earth, Wind and Fire. COME JOIN ME, YELPERS!!!!

Additionally, Rain is the best bartender in DFW. Well, he is. He's pretty to look at, and he can mix your drinks like a champ. Go see him.

    Love this place.

My husband and I were at The Pub last Friday night having fun in the back game room. Wish more places had a setup like that! The bartender was back there by himself, and was getting rocked pretty hard, but kept up with the chaos AND kept a good attitude about it. Very impressive! Cool place with a laid back vibe.

I decided to try this place for the first time.  My lunch was very good(brisket sandwich).  My server Alex was great.  She was attentive but no overly so.  On my days off I like to sit somewhere eat, sip a beer and read, at lunch.  This was a great place for it.  A little pricey on a pint of domestic at $3.50.

Went on Saturday, February 9th.  Don't waste your time, food was worthless and service even worse.  They should just close
    Thumbs DOWN

I really wanted to like this place, but you guys have one of the WORST employees in the industry! Steve M. is beyond useless with a terrible attitude. He is chasing away business.

Revisited the venue (former Down Under Pub patron) to hear some friends rock the house in their band Metal Shop! That was the best part of the evening.
Saw our waitress once, had to get up to get purchase our own drinks (throughout the night) and food (later that night).
Bar experience (had two drinks all night 1- Water 2- Crown/7up) specifically replied no tab when asked and held up one finger and slice to the neck (physical gesture b/c she could not hear me) I did not receive a slip to sign so checked bank records today saw a charge for $8.26 (odd number triggered red flag) asked b/f how much he paid for his drink he advised $6.50. Placed a call to The Pub and inquired the cost of Crown/7up he replied $7.25 as I expounded on the situation his reply was and take heed to this should you visit this place: when a tab is opened an 18% gratuity is automatically added to the bill when it is closed out. A- Never started a tab B- Specified one drink
Ladies restroom is tiny the toilet is literally 3 inches from the closed door (watch where you step).
Note the only reason I gave it two stars is b/c the band was awesome #DoNotMessWithMyMoney

The old version of the "The Pub in Frisco" was called "The Down Under Pub and Grill".  It was one of the the greatest places in the US to play 'bar pool' (and I am an expert on this).   LOTS of good pool players went there.

Re-opened in December 2012, with the same formula as the Down Under:  good bands in the front room (now with more room to dance), and a large game room in the back with 5 coin-operated pool tables (newly refurbished), Golden Tee and a couple other games.   Full menu of sports-bar-type food, too, but I can't comment on it as I have never eaten there.   Great mix of ages, with few under 25.   Lots of TV's in front and back.

The crowds have rediscovered "the Pub" and are back in force.

It is located across the parking lot from the Best Buy.
