Great Food. Upbeat atmosphere. Come early though, very busy for dinner. Some things you must try are the potato soup, salad w honey mustard/hot bacon, backyard bbq burger.

I think my meal, chicken tender salad and their famous potato soup, actually deserve four stars. They were great. Â I gave them three however, as I felt like I had a hard time with their menu. Â The majority of the menu offered large portions of chicken, steak, and salmon. Â I wouldn't have minded if they had more options with smaller portions of meat and a wider variety (perhaps a small steak with shrimp instead of their steak & tenders meal combo).

Not too bad. Basic menu that you could get anywhere: burger / chicken / steak. Portions were good and was well prepared. Server was excellent and personable. Good sports restaurant with TVs everywhere (kid friendly too). It's a good enough place to go back a 2nd time.

Eating in the Athens area is hit-or-miss. Â This place was a pleasant surprise. Â Plenty of tv's to watch (unless your with your wife/girlfriend, of course) and the decor was decent. Â Wait staff was nice and the food was good. Â Will certainly go back when in town! Â (we got the ribs, potato soup which was a little peppery and the buffalo wings; all good!) Â Worth a visit.

Food is great - I love the catch of the day grilled, smashed potatoes and salad with house dressing most of all. Â The service is excellent - you can tell that people must like to work there because everyone is always happy, they give great service AND they help each other out so you never lack refills, anything.

My absolute favorite Athens restaurant!!! The warm, honey-covered croissants are to die for! Menu has a big selection. Service is always awesome- the waiters/waitresses always bring you another soda when you've only taken a few sips of your current one. Often, the chef would walk around and make sure you were happy with your meal. Oh how miss Rafferty's!
