The burgers are small but rich and heavy. The Baconzilla had a good portion of meaty but fatty bacon. I had to jettison some of the bacon because it was just too fatty. No need to get fries or any sides as the burger will fill you up! I couldn't even finish mine.
After I ate, I had to run to the WC.
Keep in mind that it is Drive-Thru only.
As I sit writing this review, I'm sad that Mandi G.'s gone. I mean, we didn't know each other - but I've heard of her fierce desire for Rally's/ Checkers fries - and I understand.
This place is just down the street from work. Total catch 22. I mean, their seasoned fries are something to be savored. Nice crunchy outside, super soft inside. Perfection. Yes, I too enjoy pomme frites with a garlic aoli, but for a buck fifty - these ain't nothing to sneeze at. And the Big Buford? Quite the burger. Two beef patties, two slices of cheese, all the fixins - and no extra slice of bun getting all up in the way. The bread is strictly utilitarian - so you don't get ketchup on your hands.
I love this particular location because the cashiers are always pleasant and the food is piping hot every time. The lines can get a bit long, but I love wasting time at work anywho. Just got some killer coupons the other day and just enjoyed a Big Buford combo for under $4 yesterday. Sometimes, life is good.
