The Ranch

Do you ever become completely dependent on the friends you're with because you made the mistake of "carpooling"? When in West Texas, I always encourage a carpool but after this night it will always come with the side warning that you should not be wearing your Obama shirt as you may end up at The Ranch.

Unfortunate? Yes.
After getting over the shock of a cover charge in West Texas and the initial fear of being hanged for certain political views, it was actually quite enjoyable.

There's nothing like cheap beer/liquor, good conversations, pool tables (with no wait) and a dance floor that was made for terrible two-stepping to amazing live country.

The good news is that I left practically unscathed. My bad for pre-judging, West Texas. My bad, indeed.
