After my friends incessant begging me to come here, I finally gave in. I brought another buddy for his birthday. Ordered the fried green tomatoes for an app. We ordered water and tea, both were terrible. So, we swapped them for a bottle of root beer. Thanks IBC for the best part of my meal. So, 15 min after ordering the tomatoes we ask where they are and order or burgers. The burgers come in another 25 min, sill no tomatoes. Apparently the green tomatoes were frozen so they were going to be another 20 min. The burger was well, well, well done. Kinda chewy, flavorless meat. The bun was good. I'm pretty sure the bread filed me up, because the tiny filings between the buns surely didn't. Now, the Mac& cheese, it was slightly above average, but a little runny  with cheese stringers. Then we order shakes. Nutella & banana and a red velvet. Again, those took 18 min for the first one, the second came 6 min later (yes, I was timing by now). Honestly, if I ever come back here, it'll be just for the banana and nutella shake, nothing else. As I type this, I am changing the rating from one star to two. This extra star, solely because this shake is pretty good, not knock your socks off amazing....but still, darn good. So, basin burger, you just got two stars...barely.  I had to ask my buddy, what he thought of the place he said "The only things that were good there were the milkshake, mac and cheese and the way that waitress walked"  So, there you have it.  (Oh, and it was $40 for two burgers, 2 sides and 2 drinks, ouch!)
Review Source:We went here around 8 at night.... Shortest wait we've ever experienced in this area for a restaurant!!(Although, I've been hyping this place up because I feel like, yes it's that good--- at least to try something a little different from the other burger places out here) ! Enjoyed having the patio seating, we sat had some beers and enjoyed the breeze. We tried the fried green tomatoes as appetizer... It was on the dry side which was a little disappointing, but dinner which was a Portebello mushroom burger with sweet potatoe fries was really good. Usually, I feel like we get food in excessive amounts, Â (everything is bigger in Texas, right?) but my burger was actually a good sized portion. Our waiter, Aaron is probably the only waiter we've had in this area that knows what customer service is about!! Â Anyway, i wanna try their Sunday breakfast next, red velvet pancakes, anyone? Lol. However, if breakfast isn't your thing, come to try their other burgers ( salmon burger?), or even their alcoholic drinks too. There is something for everyone.
Review Source:I got the Black & Blue burger, and it was the first burger I've had in a while that was cooked correctly. It tasted pretty good too! A bit expensive for burgers and fries (to me.) A burger, a side, a drink, and a tip will run you about $20. But, it is good food and you will be full.
Considering that it was lunch time in Midland, I was surprised at how fast we were seated and at how attentive and friendly our waitress was. The woman working the bar was also very friendly.
I'm into beer so I was glad to see a couple of imports and craft brews alongside the usual stuff.
Really clean place, nice decor. Big and open, a bit loud. The outdoor area looked nice, but we sat in the bar.
The parking lot is small, and the street was full so I had to park at Subway and walk to the restaurant.
Other than the price and the parking, I really enjoyed this place and look forward to going back.
