After a visit for lunch on the patio, I have to say it was just ok. The food came out cold and was lacking in flavor. It was your run-of-the-mill Mexican fare with not much authenticity. I didn't think it was terrible, but not the type of food to put on my regular list of Park City eateries.

Slow service, did not honor the Yelp coupon, served a beer dated for last month and made no bill adjustment when it was brought to their attention.
I guess the location has them believing people will come no matter what the quality and service. Perhaps they are correct.
I would not return to Reyes Adobe.
Its just not good, and they don't care.

We stopped in here for a couple of drinks and light snack after walking around for a while. We sat down and were promptly greeted by one server that brought out menus and water. Another slightly older, but very friendly waiter came to take our drink orders and made a few food suggestions for us to consider.

We got a premium margarita and a mango daiquiri. I was happily surprised to find that this place didn't skimp on the rum at all. Our drinks came out quickly, and were brought to the table by the gentleman that turned out to be the owner.

We had eaten a pretty big dinner at High West earlier so we were really just wanting small plates and snacks. I asked about the guacamole since that is one of my favorite snacks whether I'm home or out. Our waiter lit up and told us it was made fresh to order, then went on to describe ingredients and flavor. We went with his suggestions and were not disappointed at all!

I saw that they had tacos al pastor on the menu, but knew there was no way I'd be able to eat that after all the other food we'd eaten that day. The salsa that was served with the chips was good and obviously fresh as well. We got the Crispy Chicken Taquitos after devouring most of the guacamole. The roasted tomatillo sauce that came with the dish was fantastic and full of fresh flavor. I let our server know how great the guac and the roasted tomatillo sauce was, and when he came back to check on us again he came with a sample of their mole and a habanero sauce. He warned us that some found the habanero sauce far too spicy, but we both love spicy foods and sauces. Our waiter was so much fun and so very friendly despite the fact that we were there not long before they'd be closing for the night.

While we didn't get to try much on the menu, what we did have was delicious. Based on some of the other reviews it sounds like it's better to go during a slower time of day or off season (we went during the summer) for fastest service. Even if it had been busy and we'd waited a while I believe the food, service, and experience would have been worth it.

Popped in for a late lunch and there was no one else here. But why? The beers were cold, service was quick and friendly, chips were hot and fresh-really fresh and the grilled veggie burrito was delicious and huge. Great post workout stop!

Carnitas fajitas...YUM!  I've never seen pork fajitas anywhere and these were fantastic.  Very large portion as well.  Service was decent and prices were decent for a ski resort town.

Service and food horrible. How can you make a kids quesadilla taste like rubber? Don't put a kids hamburger as an option if you can't cook a decent hamburger. Nachos were not authentic. The only decent food were the chips but anyone can serve a good tortilla chip. Will not return......

Being from California, no trip is complete without some good Mexican food for us.  After a long day of skiing, we came across this place while walking on Main Street in Park City.

We were greeted at the door by a friendly kid and given a table in the back, by the kitchen.  The chips and salsa arrived quickly and were great. (The single star is for the chips and salsa). We ate chips for about 10 minutes before a waiter came over to ask  about drinks.  We ordered lemonade  for the kids and Maragaritas for the adults.  We placed our food order at he same time.  We decided to split chicken nachos and our friends split some kind of enchilada thing.  The kids went with a quesadilla and a Cheeseburger.  (My daughter thinks cheeseburgers are Mexican food)

So, the drinks came after about 10 minutes and were horrible.  The margaritas tasted like something that came out of a gallon jug at Costco.  Pretty flavorless and I'm sure if there was any tequila in mine.  Don't bother with mixed drinks here, just get beer instead.

The food arrived about ten minutes and four rounds of chips and salsa later and what a disappointment.  Our nachos were just plain gross.  Lots of sour cream, olives and a few pieces of chunked chicken.  Literally, two bites and I was over it.  The chips in the nachos were soggy and chewy.  The cheese tasted like craft singles and it looked like a soupy mess.  My daughters cheeseburger arrived without cheese and when we sent it back, the waiter seemed pissed off about hang to re do it.  When it finally came back, it was horrible too.  My daughter took one bite and spit it out.  The bun was soggy, the burger was a warm to order and it was also covered with a craft single.

All in all, this place was not worth the money.  Bad service, horrible food and not even close to decent Mexican food.  The only  thing this place got right was the chips and the music. Do yourself a favor and keep walking up the street to Bandits or somewhere that cares about service and the quality of their food.

My boyfriend and I went to Park City on Friday, Jan. 18th to check out Sundance. We were looking for a place to have lunch and we came across Reyes Adobe. I noticed they served carnitas so this sounded like a good place to eat.

What a disappointment! We were immediately given a table and chips and salsa. We ate chips and salsa for 15 minutes and no one ever came to our table with water, get our drink order, or our food order. There were approximately 8-10 people in the dining area and a lot of servers.

My boyfriend was getting annoyed after 10 minutes. After waiting another 5 minutes, I saw 2 servers help the tables behind us and leave to polish silverware. I knew we weren't going to be helped. We walked out. A server was near a table and thanked us for coming in. I told him we were never served.

I've noticed that the manager of Reyes Adobe reads and replies to negative Yelp comments. Mr. Manager, our experience can't be excused. There is no reason why we were ignored for 15 minutes.

We ended up going to Flanagan's and had a wonderful experience. Flanagan's was super busy, yet we ordered our food less than 10 minutes after being seated.

Rating this place 1 star is too good for them.

I am from a boarder town so Mexican food is on every corner.  I have to give this place a 3 star.  Really hard to compete with something that is right on the boarder, however, the food was really good.  The staff was friendly as well.

When you look at the reviews, I would say more propitious this place then don't.  There maybe some dishes on the menu that are not so good, is what I am thinking.     Ask the staff what they recommend.  Good food.  Give it a chance.

    Best mexican in Park City.

Fairly priced, although not as cheap as El Chubasco, but significantly better on the quality front.  I never manage to step out of my comfort zone here and always order a burrito, and it's so good I simply don't order anything else.  The people I've been here with have always enjoyed it.

Cheap compared to most main street establishments.

FINALLY found GREAT Mexican food in Utah!! The salsas, sauces, even the margaritas are delicious! And what a deal on Main Street in Park city...  Very pleased with my experience, the food, the staff, the atmosphere--  I will definitely be back.

The worst Mexican food i have ever had. The chili rellenos had a weird bitter taste in it, beans taste like coffee, and my ice tea was diluted with water and whole cup of ice. overall it was over priced. Will not be back for sure.

The food is good, but the WAIT is unbearable!!!  We waited over an hour for our entrees (our kids meals took 45 min) and never got water refills.  I would say they were understaffed?? but the restaurant was only 1/2 full.

Good food.  Good Prices.  Good Service. Not sure what happened to the rest of the reviewers, but for us, a solid mexican dinner.  Keep it simple, queso fundido, tacos and a lot of beer and tequila.

By far the WORST restaurant in Park City.  Do not waste your time or money on this place.  My food tasted like there was cleaning solution in it.  $15.00 Fajitas that were just onions is truly a travesty.   I wish I read the poor reviews on Yelp before spending my hard earned cash on this joint. This was in no way Mexican food, the refried beans were not detectable. Buyer Beware!!!

This is a review via my girlfriend.

During a brief jaunt through Park City, we stopped at Reyes Adobe Restaurant for some enchiladas and tortilla soup.  The food itself was not super impressive (my mom returned her soup), but the service (Dee, I think?) was excellent.  Margaritas were pretty good, too (and cheap!).

I want to highlight, however, how incredibly the owner, Robert, has handled our, uh... mishap here.  Upon notification of the incident, the woman who answered the phone asked all the right questions and made sure to get my contact information, promising to have Robert return my call as soon as possible.  Robert called me back the next day to ask more questions and to talk to me about the investigating he had done to determine the cause of the mishap.  He explained their procedures thoroughly and promised to keep me apprised of any developments.  I have to say, I am not only impressed with their policies, but with how much Robert cared about making sure I was happy.  I may not be back to Park City any time soon for Mexican food, but I would be remiss for not giving the owners, servers, and management two thumbs up for their customer service.

I think their $2 margarita sign brings in customers, not knowing that they have to purchase an entree to actually pay that price.  We ordered our $2 margaritas and never did the server told us we had to order something in order for us to pay that price.  After he brought them, he then said we had to each buy an entree if not they were going to charge us $7.50 for each margarita.  Obviously there wasn't much we could do at that point since they were already served.  We didn't feel like eating there so we just told him we will pay full price.  I noticed there was two other couples who had fallen to the same mistake as us, and just ordered their "$2" margaritas and left.  I was more disappointed when my husband told the server to bring us the check already, and also made it clear that we weren't ordering anything else.  The server then brought me a second margarita...I told him I was okay and hadn't order it.  I felt like he wanted to take advantage of us. I don't recommend this place at all.  I would have appreciated if they made things more clear before feeling forced to stay there and end up paying more than expected.

I gave this place only 1 star because I couldn't give a zero. Huge sign saying $2 margaritas, but tiny fine print saying you need to buy a full price entree to get that price on the margarita. Even when I asked the waiter about the price, he still failed to mentioned this. He did mention it once we were consuming them. Not cool. I was okay with paying full price but then the jerks charge me $3.99 for the chips and salsa. Boycott this place.

Our cabbie told us it was the best mexican food he had ever had.  Wow, this guy must not get out much.  The food was OK.  It didn't have great flavor or freshness, but it was decent for the cost.  Entrees were about $15 on average, which I guess it pretty good for Park City.  Drinks, at least the margaritas, are watered down (I realize there are laws in UT about alcohol consumption so not sure if this is a really helpful to the review).

We ate at Reyes last night looking for some good Mexican food here in Park City.  Guess what?  We are still looking!

My wife, daughter and I ate their last night to celebrate my little girl's 5th birthday as she loves tacos.  When we walked in the restaurant looked nice and was about half full. We were seated and told that our server would be right with us.  We then had three different people stop by to tell us that our server would be right with us.  After 45 minutes of waiting, we finally were able to meet our server and place our drink orders.  The diet coke was great!

After we received our drinks we placed our food order.  I had a smothered grilled chicken burrito chimichanga style, my wife ordered Shrimp Fajitas and my daughter ordered a beef crispy taco off the kids menu.

45 minutes later we received our meals.  We are now two hour into dinner. My burrito was uninspiring. Actually kinda bland and the chicken was dry.  I was not impressed.  My wife really liked her shrimp Fajitas ( but honestly, how hard is it to sauté peppers and onions and shrimp?) and my daughter didn't like her taco when she normally gobbles down two of them at Taco bell!  I tried her taco and found the beef to be very dry.  So in all honesty, I don't blame her for not eating it.

In summary, if you are looking for good Mexican food, look somewhere else.  If you are looking to have a two+ hour dinner that isn't worth the wait, then this is definitely the place.  We will not be coming back.

Oh, we did get a free fried ice cream for my daughter's birthday and that was very good.  So maybe stop by and have some fried ice cream.  That alone was worth the 2 stars.

Average at best. Do not understand all the high ratings.  Service was BAD, margaritas were average, not impressed.  Many better options in Park City.

I was quite delighted by this place.  Just the fact that they would offer posole or menudo on the menu gives you a clue that these people stand by what they serve.  Fish tacos?  How about two kinds: beer battered cod or upgrade to grilled mahimahi.  I had the chile verde burrito, fajita style and it was very satisfying...tasty pork, onions, green peppers, tomatillos and a very light hand with the rice and beans inside.  My lunch date had one of several chile relleno combos.  Think outside the box when you order, and I think you'll be pleased too.

A nice surprise.  Great Mexican food, good service and a fair price in downtown Park City.  The chips and salsa are very good, and the guacamole is fabulous.  I had the Tantito combinacion and it was way more food than I wanted/needed but all very good.  It isn't the best Mexican food I've ever had but it did the trick.
I don't know about the Blue Iguana or CheMayo because we didn't go, but I imagine they are more expensive, a bit more creative (?) and probably a lot more stylish, but if you want some good Mexican food in a simple no frills environment,  this is a great place to go with the family and friends.

I'm completely perplexed by the rating of Reyes Adobe on Yelp.  The most authentic aspect of this particular restaurant is the server's pronunciation of the dishes.  Seriously.

Having dined there recently, I mentioned my experience to several of my friends, who chuckled at my stupidity for opting to do so.  "Yeah, that place is TERRIBLE," they all mused.   To my knowledge, locals avoid Reyes Adobe, and I now know why.

So, why two stars?  The service was pretty good.  The free chips and salsa were ok -- albeit too salty for my taste.

For my entree, I ordered a combination platter: 1 tamale, 1 enchilada, served with beans and rice.  Everything on my plate had a mealy texture, which I found particularly off-putting.  The rice was grainy and flavorless.  It was also slightly burnt.  The beans - the best part of my meal - had NO taste whatsoever.  Eh.

The tamale was the worst.  Ever.  Tamales ought to be soft masa masses of perfection, sometimes combined with meat.  The tamale balance is an art.  THIS shredded beef "tamale" (btw - I did in fact order chicken) was a starchy rock that I could not stomach.  I tried.  Repeatedly.  But, it tasted like dirt.

The enchilada was ok, although the tortilla was stale.  Another reviewer remarked that his dish was fantastic even though "the tortilla is not as fresh as Cafe Rio."  If a Mexican restaurant can't live up to a National chain, I think some serious food evaluation is in order.  It would be like going to a restaurant, and claiming that it was GREAT, but the buns at McDs are fresher.  WHAT?!?

I overheard another server claiming that their mole sauce (which is what I drenched my enchilada in) was best in State.  I do NOT agree.  For mole, I will drive down the Canyon to SLC.

My dining companion was able to stomach his meal, but I'm not sure how he managed.  To me, it look liked a smorgasbord of waste.

Other reviewers have remarked about the price point.  For $15, I could enjoy a meal for two at El Chubasco.  A meal I could actually eat.

Next time I'm craving a sit-down Mexican meal, I'm making the drive to Tara Humara in Midway.  For a quick fix, Chubasco and Anaya's will have to continue to satisfy any immediate cravings for this PC local.

I had the  chicken fajita and it was fantastic. The chicken was cooked perfect and the onions were great. My friend it the smothered shrimp burrito and man it was awesome. It was a good price at $15 because it is easily two meals. The chips and sales were top notch and the service was awesome. Location is amazing with this place. Just right in the heart of historic main street. Loved it. The queso was not great as an appetizer. That was the one thing we did not love. Overall this place was awesome.

The food is so good, the portions so plentiful, the prices so reasonable, and the location so ideal, that I fear this place is doomed to become overly successful and raise its prices like all the other good restaurants on Main Street.

Location is at the base of Park City's Main Street, in a pedestrian mall area just north of the Sky Lodge.  This makes it very accessible if you're coming from Deer Valley or Kimball Junction.  There is street parking nearby or in the China Bridge Garage two blocks away.

There is a fair amount of seating, but I've had to wait for a table several times on Friday and Saturday nights.  Clean and boring decor. Medium flat screen TVs mounted high in the corners play sports games.  They will change the channel upon request.  The restroom hallway is shared with the next-door neighbor overpriced sushi restaurant, Oishi (High quality, but about double the price of similar sushi 10 minutes away in Kimball Junction; but that review is in a different castle).  Complimentary salsa served upon being seated that was good enough for seconds.

The prices are comparable to a national chain mexican restaurant like Chevy's or Don Pablo's but slightly more expensive and with somewhat larger portions.  The amazing value is in the taste and quality of the food.  My favorite is the Carne Asada Burrito for about 15 bucks.  The meat is lean and plentiful.  The beans are rich and indulgent.  The rice is fresh, light, and fluffy.  Everything is flavorful without the curse of most mexican restaurants: too much salt.  The tortilla is not as fresh as Cafe Rio (in Kimball Junction), but is perfectly adequate.

The guacamole is fresh, simple, and delicious, but is probably the most over-priced thing on the menu because of the small portion.  If you're dying to try it, just ask the server for a free sample.

Their margaritas are best in show for Main Street.  Made with real fruit and fresh-squeezed juices instead of typical preservative-laden, artificially-flavored mixes. You won't find a better one on Main Street for less than double the price.  Blended strawberry margaritas are the antidote to the delicious super-spicy diablo shrimp.

Where the value of this restaurant comes into play is when you consider its location.  The Park City dining scene is renowned for its quality, but not so much for its prices.  Main Street is loaded with restaurants that will happily charge you $50+ for an entree and $15+ for a margarita.  Reyes Adobe has a similar gustatory experience at about 1/3 the price.

Protip:  ask for the "special offer" to get $2 off any burrito or chimichanga, any time.

    Best in show.

So we came with a group of 8 off season on a Wed night. We ordered fairly quickly and even though it was not crowded, waited almost an hour for our food. So service was not so good, and they mixed up a few of the sides.

Drinks were okay. I had the house Margarita and my wife had the melon Margarita. Both were just okay. I'd say a three for drinks.

Chips and salsa were both above average. Salsa definitely had kick.  Three of us had burritos with mole and we all agreed they were definitely above average. We all could have dealt with maybe less mole (they were smothered). A friend had pozole which was really tasty. Tamale was awful. Overall we all agreed the food was a four, drinks a three, service was eh.

We dined at 5 restos in Park City last weekend, and I'm reviewing this one first. And it's getting 5 stars!
All things being equal, Reyes Adobe could easily get 4 stars. But this is Park City, where no things are equal. Everything is a bit more spendy and sometimes worth it, other times not. This sweet little mexi-joint is CHEAP and super delicious at the same time! 5 stars for combined taste and value!
They have impeccable service. Our (very pregnant) waitress was friendly, happy and helpful. The only reason I bring up the aforementioned condition of the waitress, is that she had a very good excuse for being hot, exhausted and crabby, but she wasn't. She was grrrreat!
The food was super yummy, traditional Mexican food. It had cheese ont it, but it wasn't smothered. The shredded beef, shredded chicken and carnitas were all bursting with flavor. The chips were house-made and the salsa really packed a whallop, which is always a good sign. The Reyes family provided us with an awesome patio where we could sit and enjoy the beautiful Summery weather and people-watching. All of this while enjoying our favorite cabernet, with a paltry $5 corkage fee.
We were so overjoyed with the whole experience, that we left a 60% tip. We still got out of there for $40 for two people. Wow! Astounding.

While on vacation we were staying right next to this place.  It smelt so good we had to give it a try .  The food was not bad.  I ordered the beef fajitas which were good, but there was something that made it too spicy.  My wife ordered the chile relleno and it was too sweet for her.

House Margarita is awful.  Go with the premium ones.   Every dish was totally underseasoned.   Beans were so flavorless as to be inedible.   2 of three burritos had very little meat.   Cheap place on Main Street,  but you get what you pay for.

I find ski resorts to either have amazing Mexican places or some real let downs. Luckily this little restaurant in Park City did not let us down.

The service was very good and pleasant. They did not rush us at all which is awesome. The food comes out quickly and hot with lots of flavor. I had the burrito with shredded chicken, guacamole, pico de gallo, chipotle sauce, and cheese ... delicious, but I'm a sucker for anything with chipotle in it! The margaritas are pretty good too.

Definitely return next time I find myself in Park City!

Park City doesn't have an abundance of decent mexican restaurants.  They are either good, but expensive or not good, but cheap.  Reyes is working to be good and inexpensive.  They've made some progress through recent changes.  There is no longer at table service, you order at the counter and then they bring the food to your table.  Like a fast food place.   The prices have come down dramatically.  I had the Carne Asada platter and it was ~$10 for the dinner.  Margaritas were good and even though they didn't have table service the people that worked there kept coming over to check on us to see if we needed refills or anything else.  They were very proud of the fact that they've reduced the prices and no longer have tipping on the bill.

The food was good, the ordering situation still is new and has some kinks.  They are striving to be an affordable place for locals and regulars.  We'll go back.  We need restaurants like this in PC.

Had a really good dinner here while in Park City for a long weekend. The restaurant was pretty small, but we had no problem getting a table for 4 around 8pm on a Sunday night. The food was really good and the service, though not trained very well, was very nice and quite fast.

I had the shrimp fajitas and with that you get a soup or salad (both were great), flour, corn or wheat tortillas, beans, rice, and a ton of shrimp, onions and peppers. Honestly, the portions were enormous. We could have easy have shared 1 meal between 2 of us and been more then full. None of us finished our meals!

I would definitely go back next time we are in Park City.

My family and I have been on the hunt for some decent Mexican food in Park City, especially since our beloved Cafe Sabor left town, so when we heard about Reyes Adobe and their slogans about not needing to venture to Salt Lake for an authentic Mexican meal, we knew we had to try the new establishment.

Unfortunately, our hunt for a good Mexican meal in Park City continues. Our meals were high-priced, cold, and disappointing.

My wife and I both ordered combination plates consisting of a single hard-shell taco each, and one other item. We were shocked to find the taco shells were not homemade and weren't any different from those found at Taco Bell or in boxes on your local supermarket shelves (to be fair, this problem pervades most Mexican restaurants in the state). An authentic crispy taco is one where the shells are made in-house from fried corn tortillas.

My second item was a chicken tamale which had obviously been prepared days in advance, perhaps re-heated at least once, and then re-heated again for my meal. It was hard and tasteless. My wife's second item was a cheese enchilada which seemed to have been warmed in a microwave and transferred to her cold plate.

In each case, the meals arrived luke warm, with cold beans and rice.

I ordered a so-called 'top shelf' margarita which tasted like it was made from supermarket margarita mix and very little (if any) tequila.

Our daughter had the Carne Asada Burrito which included the restaurant's signature Carne Asada (after all, their web site lists them as "Utah's Carne Asada Connaisseurs' [sic]). While the Carne Asada in the surprisingly small burrito was good, included within was what can only be described as a cheese sauce, similar to Velveeta which later gave her a stomach ache. $15.99? Really?

And to add insult to injury, the Guacamole we ordered had no seasoning other than the included chopped red onions and a couple of small diced pepper piece. We were shocked when the bill came and we found that we had been charged $12.99 for the equivalent of less than a cup of it.

We really want to see a Mexican restaurant succeed in Park City and had high hopes for this one based on their marketing. Unfortunately, the quality, preparation and prices left us not wanting to return. So for now, we'll continue to venture to Red Iguana or Blue Iguana all the way down in Salt Lake City.

Reyes Adobe is located in the same space as the former La Casita. Perhaps the next restaurant in this location should be of another genre.
