I cannot decide whether I liked this place or found it disgusting. Â It is definitely a dive bar in every sense of the phrase.
A dark, seedy atmosphere with decor and design dating back to early 90's - think Spuds McKenzie posters. Â It also reeks of smoke but overall is relatively clean for this type of hole in the wall. Â On the positive they have decent size TV's, a pool table, outdoor seating and a lot of tables.
They seem to have a steady crowded of local regulars which could make for some interesting people watching. Â They only had one employee that I saw who was a surly older woman with a gruff voice and no-funny-business attitude which fortunately made for quick service. Â The biggest positive you will find are $2.50 domestic pints and $1.50 PBR pints.
If you are already in the area with a group of your bros and looking for a quiet night of heavy but cheap drinking this could be the place for you... or if you are a drunken sailor or a burly truck driver. Â They also have a karaoke machine and stage which could take this place up a star if I hit it on karaoke night.
