Rocco's is a small pub along Rt.7. It is a very comfortable place to sit and grab a drink and some food. They have a decent beer and drink selection at fair prices. The best part is the food. The best way to describe it is bar food with a twist. I would highly recommend the truffle fries with whatever sandwich you are getting. Every day they also have a variety of food specials that always look delicious and interesting.
I have been here twice and have enjoyed it both times. It is a very small place so during peak times it is pretty hard to get a table.
What a happy little find this place was! Â
My friend/neighbor goes here often and always talked about it. Â After 6 months of living in the area I never made the venture out to it. Â Last night a friend of mine came down and we decided to check it out.
Its a hole in the wall. Â Literally. Â Small, Narrow, Limited seating but you dont feel crowsded in. Â The kitchen is open and visible which is always nice to make sure there isnt any mucking around. Â
Not the largest meny I've ever seen but defintely has something for everyone. Â We started with some buffalo wings which were better than average. Â I always hesitate ordering wings at a new place in fear of being served those goddamn WingDing things. Â Those things are BULLS#!T. Â I got the mushroom burger which came with mushrooms, grilled onions and a honey truffle aoli. Â My friend got a burger with avacado, bacon, cheese and i believe a jalapeno aoli on it. Â Thank god we split the burgers because we both couldnt decided which we wanted...and they were both pretty damn good. Â The sauces were right on...not overpowering. Â The burgers were cooked correctly...which is always a plus. Â
The bar has a small beer selection on tap but its got enough to keep it interesting.
Prices? Â Meh. Â Not high...but not low. Â 2 burgers w/ fries, order of wings and two beers (one craft and one tall) came to $44. Â
Oh...i forgot to mention...it was also a Ladies' Night...so a DJ started playing music around 9:30 and the whole place filled with a lazer light show. haha. Â Not gonna lie...wasnt even mad. Â
Will ABSOLUTELY be going back again!
Mmm Rocco Fries, burgers, and flatbreads. Rocco's is definitely a place where you can find a crowd, good food, expansive drink menu, and  friendly service without heading to Providence.  The decor is a bit cheesy, but the food makes up for it. Anything involving their burgers, fries, flatbreads, or salads is a home run; fish and chips leave something to be desired.  Be sure to get there early because this place is packed!
