The Tamales and Menudo are really good. I would give this place a higher rating, but they only take cash. Debit cards/Credit Cards are not accepted, so be prepared to take cash if you're going to order their great tamales and good food.

Menudo is delicious! I just moved from Los Angeles and was looking for a place that offered delicious authentic menudo. This was the place! The employees were great! Super nice and friendly. Price was very reasonable. $6, $8, $10 for menudo plus they package it nicely if you need it as a carry-out.  You definitely can tell its a family owned restaurant. We didn't get the chance to try the tamales but we plan on returning to keep trying the rest of the menu. : )

    Tamales! Tamales! Tamales!

This place is really good. They have really good tamales. The service is awsome and the drinks are the best.

Tamales: regular tamal (corn husk) or Oaxacan style (wrapped in banana tree leaves). So many choices, chicken or pork, green or red sauce, Cheese and jalapeno pepper,
Sweet tamales: pineapple, strawberry, pecan, all really good.

My favorite you ask. well let me tell you that my favorite is the oaxacan chicken in green sauce. It is just soo good. As said before it is wrapped in banana tree leaves and it gives it a special flavor. The masa is so moist and not spongy like other places. Shredded chicken breast smothered in a spicy green tomatillo sauce. My mouth is literally watering just as I'm writing this. And now I know what's for lunch today, Lol.
When I take it to go I top it with some extra green sauce, sour cream, onion and avocado and you my friend have what I like to call a super loaded tamal.

They do have the best atole I have tasted. Champurrado is silky and so flavorful.

It is taking me too long to wrap this review up and it is almost time to go to lunch so I'm just going say, good tamales, good service and good drinks.
