Decent Shepard Pie, using ground beef and hand cut veggies. The side order of polenta is great, as is the grilled veggies. Nice burgers, but if you order rare be prepared for a cold pattie. Â It's a no frills experience and priced as such. Decent desert menu, with an occasional home-run of house made cobbler or bread pudding. Â Baseball Games on in the bar and never so full you need a reservation.
Decent place to make a large crowd happy as something for everyone, or simply make yourself happy with a large bar tab- it'll be a win-win.
Went in for a Sunday Brunch. The staff was young and prone to mistakes, though the mistakes were promptly corrected with some of the items being comped off (thus the 4 star not a 3 star). The coffee was bitter but tolerable. The ambiance is always fun... after all it is an Irish pub with the drinks flowing freely. I will go back.
