I LOVE THIS BAR!
It's a dive, no doubt! Full of helpful retirees, blue collar workers and slacking sales reps (myself included) daylight hours. Â The crowd may seam a little "Insiders Only" at first, but they loosed up quickly! Tuesday and Friday night they have Karaoke. Cheap good pours all the time!
They have three beers on tap: stella, widmers, and blue moon. Cocktails $4. Bartender did not know how to make a manhattan, I was a bit suprised.
Bartender was chill and friendly. I thought the regulars were friendly as well. Got offered some drinks.
Two flat screens to watch the games. Pool table. Also friday night karaoke.
For some reason my bf loves this place and I can't understand why. It's grimy and gross. Less than dive bar status in my opinion. I had one drink and had to leave. A couple of the patrons sitting at the bar there on the night I joined my bf were loud and obnoxious. Then some dude walked in already two sheets to the wind (probably got kicked out of another bar) and they still served him two drinks in the time I finished my one. And there was a gal hitting on all the men to play pool with her.
Just not my type of place or my crowd. Will pick the Crest over this place anytime hands down.
Well, it's a dive bar. I have never been robbed, stabbed, or harassed here, so I guess that makes it A-OK in my book.
It's always been fairly quiet the week nights I have been there. Not a problem for me. I like to find an open seat at the bar or have the pool table to myself. Bartenders have always been friendly as well as the folk planted on the stools nexxt to me.
Used to be a great place. Â Just ok now. Â Crowd has changed.
Lots of regulars. Â Prices decent.
We used to go here on Friday nights for the Karaoke. that was when Steve was running the Karaoke.
Now that he is gone, there is no reason to go here.
1 pool table, 1 soft tip dart board, internet jukebox.
Was looking for just a neighborhood watering hole and read about this place on Yelp, passed it during my afternoon run and thought I'd check it out later.
Friendly regulars. Made fast friends with Stan and Martin and a few others whose name got lost in the Firestone beers.Cool-chick bartender Erin. She kept the jukebox going.
Good place to kick back and solve the world's problems with some of your fellow countrymen who you may never see again but impress you with their humanity and hospitality-even in L.A.!
86'd?! How the hell do you get 86'd from this dump?! They've 86'd  more people from here - NO WONDER WHY THE PLACE IS DEAD!!! I can hear the crickets from the parking lot!!!
This used to be a great place to chill. Not so much anymore.
I'll drink my water at home, thank you very much.
(I'm sorry....the review for this would be wayy. toooo. long and its past my bedtime....yawn...)
one of those local watering holes where everyone knows each other. 1 bar pool table, wed and sunday mini tournament, internet juke box, street parking, full bar, $4.50 jack and cokes, friendly mature crowd, tvs.
I stopped by to grab a drink and check out the tournament , not enough players-it was canceled, there are 3 johns at the bar, they try to impress me w/ gamble talk-it didn't work.. nor did it happen , they bought me many drinks, we are friends now, I put in some songs, we all play a couple rounds of pool, Â watch the academy awards, flirt with the bartender, I buy the johns some drinks, got f-cked up, spent all my money instead of winning money as planned, end up at a kick back. learn how to play dominos, it is fun, adding is difficult when intoxicated, eat some cookies and lots of hot cheetos, the walls are closing in, need fresh air, im on the road eyeing my empty coffee mug, probably should pull over, yep i'm pulling over, and now im throwing up jd and hot cheetos in a parking lot, security walks over, he's wondering if i'm okay, he asks, I can't answer as I am still throwing up, "i'm okay, thanks"
..good times
