We've tried pretty much all the pizza places in the area near my house, and it's Rustey's we go back to most often.
I would give them five stars except for a few issues they could work on -
one being their delivery times. I understand being busy, but maybe you need to hire another driver because waiting an hour sucks sometimes, especially when you live 5 minutes away! A few times our order has been wrong, so whoever answers the phone and gets the order together needs to pay a little more attention.
That being said, I guess I should get to the food!
The pizza is good, not the best ever, but good....looooove the garden salad w/ oil & vinegar (don't know what they put in the o/v combo, but it's damn tasty!)
I have to say I'm not very adventurous with wings, I like just the ordinary buffalo wing with medium sauce, and their wings are decent, not to greasy, good sauce/wing ratio, and a decent amount of meat on the wings. I also like the boneless wings....YUM!  They have the right kind of Jalepeno poppers (which means CREAM CHEESE inside NOT nacho cheese).
I've had a few sandwiches from there also, and haven't been disappointed, my husband likes the eggplant parm.
I have also tried one of their dinners - baked ziti w/ meatball and I was pleasantly surprised, kinda reminded my of sunday dinner w/ my extended italian family.
All in all a decent neighborhood pizza place - nothing fancy, solid food, decent prices :)

We discovered Rustey's at my job a few months ago when we had a craving for some garlic-parm wings. Like the other reviewer said, the garlic parm wings are great! The thing that I find to be great about their wings is that they are very crisp and not oily, and not drippy.
Usually we do delivery, and there have been a few times I have gone to pick up an order, pick up has always been excellent. Delivery sometimes though....they tell you 40 minutes and its a longer wait - I tend to overlook this because the food arrives hot and correct.
Some other items I have tried, the mexican pizza - it was good, not all the ingredients on it were things I like, so I tried to just eat around those and eat what I did like, and the parts I did like were quite good. I have also tried the x-hot buffalo wings, and have yet to go for their hottest xx-hot wings. The x-hot, oh boy are they hot. The first time I got them, not so bad, but the second time, my entire body was on fire from them.
I have also tried a few of the hot paninis, most recently the ultimate italian - it was good, the only thing I don't care for is coppicola, but it also has pepperoni, salami and provolone,  and it was tasty, and the fries it came with were great.
I have also had the smothered chicken panini, which was excellent. It was a cross between a chicken parm and a baked ziti on a panini - highly recommended. The baked ziti is also quite good, as well as the side salad you get with it.

Wynantskill sure has a lot of banks, fast food/takeout eateries, and pizza places including Rustey's Pizzeria (at Wynantskill Square) located along the short main drag. I'm still puzzled why there are five different financial institutions along Main Ave since most people in "Da Skill" tend to be cheap with their money, my folks included, hence the lack of mid to high end dining options in the area, just mostly burgers, fries, subs, pizza, and ice cream. The exceptions pricewise are the sushi place (Okinawa) two doors down and great & decent Italian restaurants, both out on Route 150.

Rustey's Pizzeria offers tasty food & good portions at budget friendly prices. This place has a typical strip plaza eatery layout, order at the counter with large kitchen in the back and booth seating along the wall. I've gotten takeout from here several times over the years. Delivery to Wynantskill and Albia is offered.

Okay, the food! Rustey's wings are very good, especially the garlic parmesan and sweet & sour wings which won the local Wing Wars competition. The NY style pizza is decent. The large pizza slices can be greasy, flimsy crust towards the center, meant to be folded while eaten. Sicilian pizza is available too. For pasta dishes (served with a garden salad & rolls), the Chicken Franciase (with spaghetti) and the Penne with Vodka sauce are my favorites. They also serve up specialty pizzas, salads, wraps, subs (Boar's Head meats), burgers, paninis, Mexican items, fried dough, and Pepsi drinks from the cooler.

I was a bit disappointed on my last visit. I decided to try something different and I ordered a Taco Salad with Chicken ($6.65 plus tax) which was a good sized salad with crushed tortilla chips, tomatoes, red onions, shredded cheese, lettuce, sour cream, salsa, and spicy grilled chicken breast strips. While most of the ingredients used in the salad were fresh, the grilled chicken strips were very dry and very chewy. The taco salad was okay, but in general didn't seem like I was eating Mexican food and the salad could've used some guacamole, jalepenos, limes, and refried beans.

Overall, the service here is good and the food is ready in the time promised, usually 10-25 minutes. I would return again (when the place moves two doors down past Subway and transforms into the Kickin' Wing Co), but I'll have to stick to the great wings, pizza, and pasta. (3.5 STARS)
