Delicious Colombian food. We tried their patacones and "Paisa," which was basically a stew of pinto beans, rice, fried plantains, avocado, and grilled beef. Absolutely delicious on a cold, rainy day. Their horchata, made with milk, was also delightfully thick and perfectly sweetened.
The service was only so-so. Our waitress checked in with us only once over the course of our meal, and it took a while to get our drinks.
The atmosphere was great. The latin music was not too loud, and the TVs showing sports were not overwhelming. Despite the lackluster exterior, the interior was clean and cozy.
I would definitely recommend it to anyone and plan to return and try some new dishes!
My friend and I took a day off from class at USC and went hiking near Greenville. We happened to stumble upon this place on our drive home. We were starving and didn't know what half of the things were on the menu. Our waiter was SO nice, so polite, and so helpful. He explained in detail what everything was, and when we decided to order multiple things (because everything was so cheap that we thought it would be small portions) he told us that was a LOT of food and that we would never be able to finish it. (Wonderful, since a lot of places try to con you into ordering more than you can eat.) In the end, what we ordered had the Freshest ingredients, and tasted phenomenal.
A month later when trying to decide where to go hiking, we chose the same hiking spot, simply because we wanted to go back to eat a sachas. It is now a year later, and I was just day dreaming of their food, so I decided to write this review.
Staff= A+/friendly & helpful
Food= A+/Fresh & delicious
Price= Low cost but large portions
Atmosphere= a lot of tables, always full, TV's for sports games
Rating= 5 stars, can't wait to go back, I tell all my friends about Sachas
the best place in greer for colombian cuisine. from patacones, to arepas rellenas, this place is PERFECT.
i had the best burger in my life there, Sacha's burger. the pineapple coleslaw and salsa rosada along with a giant patty and generous toppings hit the spot.
the people i went with ordered a variety of foods and all of it looked hot and fresh, along with really generous portions.
the interior is dark with loud music playing. there are tvs for games throughout the cafe. it's best to go at night, when the atmosphere really shows.
service was a little slow, but i've had worse.
i loooove going here, perfect for a night out.
