Started off with a sample platter that included tortilla chips, quartered flour tortillas, black beans, re-fried beans, and cheese dip.
Wife had frozen margarita. Â She loved it. Â I had a bottle of Carmel Porter. Â It was terrific.
I asked the waiter what the specialty was, he recommended the mexican seafood soup. Â I was more than I expected and wish I would have ordered the bowl rather than the cup.
Wife ordered the Fajitas. Â She indicated that it was good but did not has as much flavor as she would have expected.
I had the enchiladas with red sauce. Â This plate was tremendous. Â
Hot Sauce we above average.
Guacamole wasn't the freshest, not even sure it's made on the premises. Â It tasted like it was starting to ferment.
Restaurant was kinda grungy, but ok, I get it - it's a college town. Â The spinach enchiladas were not good, the spinach was far from green and I just couldn't get myself to put those lousy-tasting calories in my body so it remained untouched minus a bite. Â
Service was fine.
