Stewarts Brewing Company

Good food and drinks. They have a nice selection of more unusual dishes. They take what would be a average dish and add their own unique twist. Everyone enjoyed their meal. And our server was very nice. Considering they brew their own beer, it was a bit pricey at $5 a glass. Its nice that Bear (Lil Philly) actually has a decent restaurant.

Great local brew! Dollar Dogs during Phillies Games. Definitely worth checking out and a local brewer worth supporting, if you are around.

We went to Stewart's as we were heading up through Delaware to get to NJ.  It is right off the highway--and we enjoy visiting breweries and wineries.  It is located in a shopping center--but when you go in, it has a nice brewery/sports bar feel.  They also have the beer kettles right in the restaurant.  We went in and ordered the sampler of beers and the pork nachos.  The sampler had a variety of beers ranging from light beers to porters and stouts.  The beers were on the heavy side and some of them did not stand out-- however M really enjoyed the Nugget Seasonal IPA while K's favorite was the Wacky Wheat.  We definitely would have had a pint or two if we were not driving for the rest of the day.  The pork nachos were huge--in fact we did not even wind up ordering lunch because they nacho portion was so large.  It was also very tasty!  They also looked like they had some cool weekly promotions.  We have recommended this place to a few friends that live in the area and may be back if we are traveling through Delaware again.
