It is my default spot to watch UFC. Â They have a very large selection of drafts to choose from which makes this one great spot for you beer lovers. Â I personally lovea draft beer over bottled any day. Â Food comes from the attached Hooters which is ok. Â Not a huge Hooters food fan but it serves its purpose while enjoying a cold beer. Â UFC, Magic Hat #9 drafts and some Hooter's wings basking in Daytona sauce keep me satiated while watching the fights. Â The ladies working the bar have always been pleasant and are easy on the eyes. Â Parking is very convenient within the shopping center and the inside is spacious enough to not be overwhelming when crowded.
Review Source:This was a great place to wrap-up after closing out El Jefe, just a few doors down.
The night ended with a "Woo Woo Martini" - and at first I thought, "What a tini-tiny martini!" - but it was actually perfectly sized. I don't think its intention was to be a little burst of an after-dinner drink ;-) but it was, and it was just right. The advantage to cordial-sized martinis: you can create your own flight by choosing among different drinks - and that appeals to me...gosh, sounding a lot like Goldilocks...
The drink list is impressive, with its variety & creativity, and the prices are clearly marked. You can upgrade your tini-tiny martini for ~$4 more, if needed.
Now, the beer list IS impressive. For the novice or the experienced, they list the beers with categories so you know what you're getting into; and, whether you know what style you want, or need to be educated on a less-familiar style of brew, Firewaters makes it easy and fun to choose. (The only draw-back: the print is tinier than the martinis on the beer list, and the lighting is low...or am I just getting old?)
