Always a solid choice for carefully-prepared pub fare and good local beer. Â The pastrami on rye is my go-to here--salty, spicy piles of the eponymous meat, toasted bread, and Russian dressing (you can, of course, opt to add kraut and make it a full Rueben). The staff are always friendly and eager to recommend their own favorite menu items, including their house-infused vodka and fireball whiskey. Â I live nowhere near this place, but still manage to make it out from time to time because I've always had a good experience here.
