Some friends got me into coming here, and I absolutely love it.
Generally we sit at the bar, and the service is always really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable, like a pub should be, though it looks to be a bit crowded in the dining area a lot of the time. I can't really speak for the service at the tables.
The drinks are really affordable and the bartenders are good to make anything you ask for. Trivia night is a lot of fun and gets a really responsive crowd. The food tends to be great (though I'm not the biggest fan of the buffalo chicken tenders/"thingies") - the fries are absolutely to-die-for.
Definitely a great place to relax and hang out with friends. It would have to be in my top five places to go in Lexington when I'm looking to hang out.
What is it? An Irish sports bar. Â You can drink. You can watch sports. You can eat dinner. The food is very good. Â You seat yourself. Â They have live music(at least when I went). It isn't a quiet place. Â I wouldn't call it rowdy either.
It's definitely a great place to check out if you are looking for something like what I've described. I'd go again.
I love the food, but unlike the other reviewers I've not had good service when I've gone. Sure, the wait staff have been friendly enough, but they were very inattentive. We went last night and the place was quite dead, yet we hardly saw our server. Â Maybe I've just been unlucky the few times I've gone, but it's been pretty consistent.
If you go, then go for the food, but you may have to hunt your server down if you need something.

Great pub type food served here as well. Â Has the best burger in Lexington, O'Round. Â A must try. Â I've never tried them yet but people rave about the Irish Nachos.
Great place to watch sports, football and UK basketball especially. Â Casual sports bar, good waiter, and made you feel at home. Â Food and service were great.

Love this place.  We discovered a few months ago and try to go whenever were in town.  Great Burgers, a big beer selection, and friendly staff.  I also like the fact that their tapped beer is always nice and cold.  We haven't stayed late night yet, but if your looking for a real good burger  to go with a tasty pint, this is the place to be ;)
