I used to treat myself on Fridays after a hard work week to some greasy spoon eats. Â I had stopped because I am constantly being drilled by my Doctor to loose some weight. Â But this past Friday, I threw caution to the wind and stoped at Sharks for 4 wings (instead of my usual 6). Â I guess they did me a favor because, I was do disappointed I started to take them back. Â I have never in my life seen chicken wings that tiny, it was ridiculous, 4 wings equaled maybe one and a half wings. Â So never again, Harolds is up the street, they give you bread and coleslaw, at Sharks you get just chicken and fries. Â For the best wings, try the Wings on 83rd& Halsted, southeast corner!
Review Source:Wish I could give 2 1/2 stars......
Dropped in on a busy friday night without phoning ahead. Â Ordered a small catfish dinner. Â I waited for about 20 mins. Â I am not complaining about that but the clientele were something else. Â I felt sorry for the employees that have to put up with them. It came with your standard fare of fries and two pieces of white bread. Â The four pieces of catfish looked very generous when I opened the box. Â First I noticed that they left all the bones in. Â I was disappointed but then I figured what the hell, Â there's four good size pieces of catfish. Â The quality was very good and tasted very good for the first two pieces. Â The last two pieces were essentially useless. Â It really did seem like they battered up and fried the tail. Â There was no usable meat on them.
The place was very clean though. Â You can tell the care about appearance. Kudos for that.
So for the circumstances I had with them I would give them 2 1/2 stars.  Even though the pieces that had meat on them were pretty darn good.  I cant forget about the other HALF of my meal.  Maybe one day I will try them again.  I ill try another type of fish or maybe the chicken.  And definitely phone ahead on  the weekends.  It would be an advantage.
