Tony's Italian Beef

If I had to describe this sandwich in one word.

"Decadent."  Okay I'll have to use two words.  "Obscenely Decadent"  

It is a self-indulging, greasy, juicy, spicy, and .....just delicious.  

If you aren't from the area like me then you wouldn't really know what the hype about these Italian Beefs are.  From a distance, they reminded me of a Philly Cheese steak.  

NOPE.   I WAS WRONG.  VERY WRONG.  After eating a Chicago style Italian Beef, I will NEVER, EVER go back to eating a Philly Cheese Steak again.  

We were looking for some place to try Italian Beef Sub known to Chicago and stumbled upon Tony's.  This was simply the absolute best beef steak sandwich we've ever tried.  With the fat, buttery, chewy bread, giardiniera peppers, tender and juicy beef cuts drenched in broth, used it just made an amazing sandwich.  

Tony's is a hole in the wall but don't be fooled by it's appearance.  These are the best.

This Chicago-Style Italian Beef steak at Tony's and the Chicago-style deep dish are amongst the reason why I absolutely love this city.

This is the place to get your Italian Beef/Combo!!!!!!!!!

It is so amazing! There are no words to describe it. If you think you have had the best Italian Beef ever before trying Tony's, you are wrong! If you think Al's Beef is the best, you are wrong! That place is a rip off compared to Tony's Beef. I wish I could buy stocks on this place. It's a gold mine.

This review is for one thing only and that's the beef.  Tony's beef is the best beef joint in Chicago in my opinion It has changed very very little from when I first came here as a kid .  Everything is right on this sandwich the bread the juice and the beef are all in concert on this one putting this beef well above the original Al's or even Johnny's beef which is a very good beef as well.
