what a great local bar!

everyone was jamming out to 2pac to all the rock classics.

from the bouncers to the bartenders...everyone was super friendly and accommodating.

This place is okay at best.  

What I don't understand is why many bars still allow for smoking inside.  I guess it appeals to some crowds, but it's not for me.

I ordered a beer that was on tap, and it was flat.  However, the waitress did bring me a new different beer at no extra cost - which was good - but then the next one was just as flat.  The next beer I ordered was a bottled beer.

The food isn't that great.  

I'd say the place needs to be updated and needs some light.  

I'll give it two stars because the waitress who served us was pretty friendly.

It's dark, smoky and shady... what else could I want in a good pool hall?

It just didn't feel right though. There were more people playing Golden Tee than billiards. It's a huge place, but was mostly empty the evening I was there. The tables are $12 an hour (pro rated), but they have seen better days. The cues were on the other side of the building, the first table we walked up to was missing a ball and the wings were soggy. They tasted like the chicken flew through a rain storm on the way to the kitchen... 6 months before it was thrown in the freezer.

I will say, the staff were pretty friendly though. If they put a little work into the place, it could be a decent pool hall. It's in a pretty good location.

Maybe I came on the wrong night, maybe my friend ordered the wrong thing, maybe I'll find a different place to play next time I'm in the area (hint, I will).
