Shorts has a lot of potential but falls short unfortunately. Lots of space and tv's, but poor/average service and I was told if I wanted my Washington apple cold I need to make sure and ask for it cold? The only drink I order hot is coffee and not at a bar. Unlikely my friends and I will bother coming here again.

Ok, I probably would not walk but it is close to where I sleep. Usually the service is a big hit or miss. This time my group got there before me and sat on the patio outside. Our server was really nice, Very attentive and friendly. I was kinda surprised by it since every other time our waitress seems to disappear when we go there. They had some good music inside and out. The drinks were pretty good. I ordered some hot wings and they made my lips go numb because of the peppers. They were delish!! I will be back again and again because they have a convenient location and I like to drink.
Not a bad sports bar for cypress, but the bartenders aren't knowledgeable and fairly underhanded. They came around and asked if we liked certain shots, not if we would like to order them, made them anyway and charged our tab. I'm a bartender myself, and this is about as underhanded as you can be as a bartender, other than flat out charging for drinks to get an instant tip. Two stars because it has cool decor, otherwise 1.
Review Source:Went to this place on a Sunday and it wasn't  too packed but we were greeted immediately by a waitress and the bartenders, they made us feel welcome. The decor is nice but the standard bar look with electronic darts, Big Buck Hunter (I love that game!), and big screens everywhere. The beer tower at 17 bones is a nice price especially when you are going with a crew, my friend's wife was impressed with her mixed drinks. The waitress was super friendly and was quick with the drinks. I didn't get a chance to glance at the menu but this place makes me want to catch a game here with the crew. The patio area is huge and is pretty sweet if you have a large party. Shorts only got three stars not because I wasn't impressed but because all I did was drink beer. I have to come check this place out for the food, the atmosphere on a busy night, and mixed drinks.

Our first trip here went GREAT. Absolutely great. Fast service, attentive, the manager thanked us and set up tables and reserved them for us. The food is bar food, but its priced perfectly, great portions and it tasted good. Drinks were priced well, and the inside was nice and clean.
The worst part about the entire trip, which was stellar and outstanding, and caused this place to loose a star, was one of their wait staff who railroaded us into closing our tab at shift change. He didn't want to bring us another drink because of shift change, and even checked his watch when I asked for a beer.
Yeah, he checked his watch like he was late for an important meeting. Perhaps he knows the white rabbit, I don't know. I spoke with the manager after it, and I cannot think of the last time I had someone care SO much about the places image. He knew the exact person I was talking about, vowed to fix it and offered us a drink.
I explained we weren't out for free, that we truly just wanted him to know of the shenanigans that his staff was trying to pull and how we didn't appreciate it.
We plan on being back and give them one more shot, but I think they will come through. It seems as though the management knows what it takes to run a successful place and I am excited to have a good bar so close to home. Wait... is that a good thing?
