Tobin's Bar

My favorite place on the NW side, hands down! I've lived in the Jersey Village area for 3 years now and finally found a place around here I like. I frequently go out downtown/midtown but sometimes I just don't want to drive that far. I've tried several local spots only to find a bunch of old, grubby men or ghetto trash. Tobin's offers a fun night out for 20/30 somethings.

The patio is amazing. Its huge and its covered. Not to mention the back lot with tons of room for washers, bags, over-sized jenga and connect 4, a nice firepit when its cold, and huge screens all over. Weekends they play dance music and videos so you can shake your booty. Inside on the weekends, it has a club type feel. This place really has something for everyone. I haven't tried the food or daytime but definitely a good time for a friday or saturday!

Good local spot to meet a buddy after work for a drink or 6.  Their patio is huge with tons of games and one of the largest firepits around.  I have only sat inside a the bar, but will be back to sample the outdoors.

0 stars!! Literally took our bar stools out from underneath us after sitting at the bar for 3 hours! Apparently, you cannot sit at the bar after 10 PM, no matter how long you have already been there for.  Did not let us keep the heater the bartender brought over to us because "too many people were crowding around it"..... Yeah, it was 40 degrees outside, of course people were crowding around it!! It wouldn't have been such a big deal had the general manager not been so condescending about it, telling us "obviously you have never been here before". No, it was our first and LAST time we will every spend a dollar at this establishment. Don't waste your time or money here!!!
