Meh, sammich was a bit dry, nothing worth sending mom a postcard. Â And they were out of the one beer my friend yearned for. Â This place seems to admire Ruby Tuesdays, hopefully not on the level where it dreams to wear it's skin and dance around a dingy basement; god knows we dont need more of that in this mediocre chain-laden world. Â The dancing is fine though.
Review Source:Terrible, terrible food service. Â
I've gone to this place a few times because its the closest bar to go to after work. Â Its important to rate the bar and restaurant separately. Â The service there has been decent on the inside, a bit slower if you're sitting on the outdoor patio. Â They have decent apps and beer selection, and probably rates 3 stars on its own. Â
The restaurant is a completely different story. Â I went there today for a quick bite at lunch, which turned into a long and painful ordeal. Â Despite what appeared to be an adequate staff, most of the tables in the restaurant were not cleared, and it took me some time to find a clean table. Â One waitress came over and took my order, but never came back with it. Â I finally flagged someone down 10 minutes later to reorder my cup of coffee. Â It came without any flatware, which I had to ask for (twice) from another waitress. Â She drops a napkin, knife, and fork down (no spoon), and I realize its a lost cause. Â I ordered a burger. Â 10 minutes later, the waitress appears again at my table, and tells me they ran out of burgers, absurd for a "bar and grill" restaurant. Â I ordered the cubano panini instead. Â When it go to the table, I took a bite and realized it was essentially a ham and cheese panini with pickle spears in it, somewhat less than advertised.
My interactions with the waitress in the restaurant bordered on the creepy. Â She inexplicably found a couple of reasons to rub my wrist after bringing me coffee, and kept calling all of the diners in the restaurant "baby". Â Very uncomfortable.
I ate quickly to get out of the place, and flagged a waitress down to get my check.  It was then that they told me the credit card machine had been down all morning, and they were only taking cash, something my first waitress has neglected to mention.  They ended up not charging me for lunch, but overall  combination of neglect, ineptitude, and creepiness of the staff and poor quality of the food has made me swear off the restaurant half of this place, no matter how close/convenient it is.
This is a hotel restaurant and bar. Â I stopped in after a grueling work out in their fitness center, desperate for some protein...but too hungry for my own good, so I ordered baby back ribs. Â :P
The ambiance is great. Â If I lived nearby, I might make their bar a hangout. Â Nice dark wood interior, nice bar. Â Great staff.
The first bite of my baby back ribs was a little dry, but it was just playing with me, because the rest was great. Â I have had better, but these were good enough that I would order them again.
My waitress, the lovely Ms. E. took wonderful care of me in spite of the fact that I had walked in shortly before closing. Â This was the high point of my hotel experience on this trip.
