Sizzlin Skillet

I ordered the grilled salmon, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach. Sad to say my food was bad- the flavors were good but the preparation sucked cojones. My salmon was so dry it looked and tasted like jerkey. Not to mention they gave me fried potatoes instead of mashed. Normally I check my orders before I leave, but my guy grabbed the order because I had to stop by another store that was near by. I may try them again just incase it was just a fluke.

This place is a hidden gem of the south side.The food is very reasonable and delicious. They have a great variety of salads, pasta, and sandwiches. If you are looking for a healthier alternative to fast food this is the place. I recommend the fajita salad and buffalo chicken wraps.

If you want some outstanding, upscale food on the southside in a jiffy this is the place to go. Unpretentious, savory, filling, well prepared for a great price....the list goes on. And I definitely recommend you meet the owner :)
