Any restaurant to which you can ride a moped to is fine in my book. Â
My boyfriend and I visited Skipper's on a memorial day weekend trip to Chincoteague. Â The place was pretty crowded despite its obscure location, and I suspect a number of people were locals, and the rest were probably referred to this spot by their B&B hosts. Â
The food was good. Â We both enjoyed fresh seafood, and a yummy mojito prepared by the waitress who we were told prepares a great one. Â The salads were just okay and the soup was also tasty.
The service was good, friendly waitstaff and very personal owner/manager who seated us and chatted with the other patrons.
You really can't beat the view...a quite little inlet on which the sun goes down while little boats and dingys paddle by. Â I'll go back---if I ever make it back to the island.
