Hands down, best hookah bar in la county! I used to go to The Spot and I have been to cafe O and places in brentwood and all over really... Sure, they don't have some amazing cusine like other (overpriced) places do, but what they do have makes up for it on every other level. This place has THEE best dj, who is so nice and plays your requests with no question, amazing hookah with free refills on certain days and a very friendly staff of women. I used to go here all the time as I just enjoy hearing good dance music and smoking for an hour or two and this has been my favorite place to do so for the past 3 years. Thank goodness for places like this for true hookah lovers!
Review Source:Now this is a chill place for hookah
They have good hookahs an good selection
Prices are on a higher side but its worth it
One of the only places that uses natural charcoal on their hookahs
Service is good and very attentive food is ok tea was decent as well u can see the owner chilling there with his special hookah most of the time
Only problem is sometimes the crowd is not the best in there and if you are there with girls in your group they might feel a bit uncomfortable
But not all the time
This was seriously by far one of the best lounges I've been to in the valley. I will definitely be coming here again. Service can be a bit slow due to heavy occupancy after 9 pm specifically on the weekends. The employees are friendly and will be respectful no matter how busy it is. The one thing that really prevented me from giving them five stars is the parking. Parking is definitely an issue!!! Need to fix this Sky, ASAP.
Review Source:If you're ever in The Valley and in the mood for some great Middle Eastern food then you need to come check out my boy's Restaurant, Lounge & Hookah Bar. The Hookah here is amazing! They have a large variety of different flavors to choose from, not to mention the environment is relatively laid back and chill. It's a great place to meet new people or even bring your friends to relax and unwind. The service is exceptionally great and very fast. Come for lunch, dinner, or even just a smoke during the day. Don't forget to stop by on weekend nights to see the  DJ who plays awesome House music. With all this and more, it's never a dull moment at SKY! It's Definitely a place to go check out, you'll become a regular for sure!
If you go and check it out, then make sure you mention George Feelgoodnights for a FREE HOOKAH REFILL.

Review Source:Dropped by for a falafel and the quality was terrible. Â Imagine a generic cafeteria version of a falafel pita sandwich & that is basically what they serve. Â The ingredients were stale and the taste reflected this.
I am familiar with the area and have known Sky to have terrible parking because of the pretentious, tacky snobs who like to wear suits to a hookah bar in the middle of poorer suburbia on a Tuesday night while parking their BMWs and Benzes as inconsiderately as possible. Â Hey, douche bags, this is Winnetka, not Beverly Hills. Â No one cares about your shiny suits or your overpriced AMGs in the lower-middle class areas of the Valley.
Make no mistake, this is a hookah bar frequented by trendy Persian-Americans that happens to serve food. Â If you want to relax and smoke shisha out of hookahs in a blue-hued environment ("Family Guy" ethnic joke, anyone?), this is a good, and possibly only, place to go in the west-central part of the San Fernando Valley.
Great place in the valley to hang out and smoke hookah. Came here with a friend on a Tuesday night. Finding parking is still horrendous. I got really lucky and found street parking, but my friend had to drive around the corner and park in the residential area. Even then, there were a lot of cars there.
Besides the difficulty of finding parking, the service at Sky is good! Everyone's super friendly and willing to strike up a nice conversation with you. Our waitress consistently came back to check up on us and make sure that everything was good.
I went last night for hookah and to hang out with my best friend and fellow Yelper Nicole A and I have to say, I was less than impressed, the place was average as well as the service.
Sky Restaurant and Lounge is located on a relatively busy street, there's street and small lot parking (it maybe accommodates 5-6 cars) your best bet it to find street parking, there's a side street not too far from the restaurant there's usually plenty of street parking.
They recently got raided so unfortunately their drink menu is limited. They use to have these amazing Mojitos, however now their selection consists of beer, wine and Smirnoff's (ice, apple and berry flavor). They are reasonably priced at $4.95 each, it's more than you would pay if you were to go to the supermarket but you are getting the beverage at a restaurant. Â
Their promotions are great, however they really don't inform you of them. With ever alcohol order they give you complementary hummas, their hummas is good, I loved the pita chips they served it with. Another promotion they had was a Managers Special Discount, free hookah refill. We were only told this when the guy came around with charcoal and we told him the hookah was pretty much dead, he asked us if we had already ordered our free refill.
Overall I wasn't that impressed, the employees are very nice and they treat everyone as a regular, which is great but at the same time a double edge sword. I haven't been there for a while so things were new to me, like the complimentary hummas managers special, and why we weren't allowed to sit in the main restaurant if we were going to smoke hookah at a certain time. The staff was nice and relocated those that requested to the main restaurant but again, because we didn't know we needed to ask we were not relocated.
This is a fun hookah spot if you're planning on just a casual hang out with friends. Their food is flavorful and the noise level isn't excessively loud so you can have a conversation without yelling.
I'm so undecided on this one! Â 2.75 stars
Hookah: Â came out to $5 a person- for four of us which I think is a pretty good deal. It had pretty good flavor quality but they could have been a bit quicker with adjusting our coals
Food: Â all looks very delicious but I only tried the fries- amazing seasoned goodness. A friend of mine really enjoyed a wrap of theirs. Â The food prices are more restaurant level- but I don't feel like this is a restaurant so they should adjust quite a bit
Alcohol: Not much of a selection as far as beers and the cocktails are pure fruit juice- so they really need to up their bar-skills. I know they're a hookah catering sort of crowd but they need to learn to cater to us drinkers to- the hookah doesn't do enough sorry.
The bathroom: there's only one per sex and they were a complete mess and the toilets were clogged.
DJ: Plays some pretty decent music and caters to the crown- I can appreciate that a lot
Service: Meh. I wouldn't consider them waiters, only food/hookah runners. Minimal tipping necessary.
If you decide to skip it- you're not missing much.
Free WiFi and great specials! I've officially ordered almost everything on the menu and I do have to say its always Delish!!! It's enough to feed 2 with every serving and worth more then the price. This is a great place to relax during the day and great place to have fun with friends in the evening! Always upbeat and diverse music  which is a plus. AND yes there is alcohol for the grown folk at great prices. I've read other reviews and I do have to say maybe it's someone who hasn't come recently....this is definitely a spot you have to come to and bring friends. Plus the service is always friendly and the Hookahs are out of this world. So many flavors and free refills who could ask for more!!!!!!
Review Source:This place had great food. It's a little costly, but it's worth it. My wife and I ate here at about 6pm on a Friday. I like hookas, but I didn't come here to smoke. Nevertheless, the smoke didn't bother me or my wife while we ate. The owner was on-site, so after our meal, I told him what a nice menu he had and how I would return.
Watch out for the parking. Park across the street unless you have a mini cooper. I have a silverado and it wasn't fun trying to get out of the parking lot.
God awful.
We came here for lunch one day and I had the following complaints:
1. The service inside the restaurant was terrible as the focus was on the patrons who smoked hookah outside
2. It took an eon to even get a menu. So you can only imagine how long it took to get someone to come over to take our order or deliver our food.
3. the food was subpar that day. The hummus came to us almost frozen
4. Anytime we asked for refills, the so-called 'waitress' rolled her eyes and grudingly gave us our water
5. Despite the glacial pace of EVERYTHING ELSE, they were more than willing to take our money. But not expedient to give us back our change, as if to think that they could keep the change if they took enough time, Well, no, You can't, because you suck.
I'm not a hookah person so my review is on other stuff.
I was split between a 2 and a 3. Their food wasn't the greatest... it was decent... not good. For the prices though... should've been better.
The hostess / waitress chic Jenn was nice and easy on the eyes. Also the beer buckets were a nice deal.
The TV's showing some Persian'esq music videos from the 80's sucked.
The seating arrangement was good for convos. 2.5/5.
Finally found a great hookah place! This hookah tastes amazing, no harsh aftertaste, no headache, and no sore lungs after a long time hanging with friends. The service here is the best we've experienced at any hookah lounge in the valley! Sheeny and sosie will definitely take care of you, and nick is always by making sure things are going well with fresh coals :) the lounge is clean and comfortable, the atmosphere is inviting, the price is right, and the food is delicious! We have definitely found our place and are already recommending Sky to our friends! Its a little tucked away but definitely Better than anyplace you'll find on Ventura blvd. Thanks guys! -Michael and Abby gagne
Review Source:I'm not big on smoking, but danggg their food is pretty bomb. Parking sucks (there's only like 7 spots so you gotta park on the street), but it's worth it.
I like coming in for their lunch specials. It's 6.95 for almost any of their sandwiches, plus fries or salad and a drink. It's always been pretty empty every time i come in too, so no worries for a wait.
I've tried a few of their sandwiches, but what I have to say their beef kabob is defnitely my favorite. The meat was juicy and tender, just the way I like it. It was like eating mediterranean style filet mignon. Every bite was a second in food heaven. This definitely keeps me coming back.
I think the only downside to it was that the plates weren't very stable. The middle indents were too deep, so they would spin around. It was pretty fun at first, but eventually it just got annoying when I wanted to focus on my food. The food definitely makes up for it though.
Food - 5 stars
Service - 4 stars
Came here with my wife and three of our friends. The 5 of us had dinner and got a hookah and the bill came out to $110... not too bad considering.
Our server was very nice and friendly, but we struggled to track her down when we needed her for random stuff. However, our hookah was well taken care of the whole time (we were there for 3 hours). They come around constantly and refresh the coals. Also, Sunday - Thursday they offer free refills on the hookah. We first got Pirates Cave and then we had the White Peach - both were good. The actual hookah itself was sturdy and had a long hose which made it very easy to pass around the table.
The food has generous portions and everything was fresh and wasn't bad. However, I woke up this morning with terrible heartburn - a first for me after eating Mediterranean food.
They have a couple TVs in there and they were playing Mexican game shows and on top of that they had cheesy techno-dance music playing... made for an interesting dining experience.
I wouldn't mind coming here again for hookah - not too sure if I'd eat a full meal there again... that heartburn I got was brutal.
I am not a Hookah smoker...I don't smoke anything...I also don't drink. You'd think I'd not be in this place then, huh? My man and I came bouncing in there for a weekday lunch and really liked it! I got a big ol' Greek Salad and he got some sort of grilled chicken dish. When I mentioned that I was writing a review for the meal we had there he goes, "that? the chicken thing? it was AWESOME!!!!" Both were really good. The prices were fair and the service was attentive without being annoying.
The only down side is the parking. Even for a weekday lunch, the parking lot was a bit crowded. We parked on the street.
Overall, though if you want a good Greek lunch, go here.
The food is very good... Loved the grape leaves, the filet & chicken kabob was cooked with fabulous flavor... lots of hookah flavors to choose from also....
Only negative comment is the parkign lot is so small people just park behind each other... and the DJ could use some help tho...
Craving Mediterranean food SPECIFICALLY and this is the only place open. Not to mention - moments from my apartment. I just so happened to be all dressed up too.
My dude and I waltz into this place, expecting bad service, as I've read in previous reviews. It was a weeknight and the place is super full and the energies flowing. "Drop It Like It's Hot" was playing and then smoothly mixed into Arabic Hip-Hop... HEY-OOOOOH! I can dig it!
We're seated "outside" which feels like it's inside. There's cobalt blue comfy ass couches everywhere. Great for groups. We sit in the back corner and take in everything that's going on. Didn't expect to have such an eventful Tuesday night! The hookah smelled amazing and the music was rad. The TVs were playing a mixture of New Jersey meat factory commercials and Middle Eastern music videos. Watchin' the skinned carcasses be stamped and advertised and the hot babes shakin' it.
The menu had a lot of options and averagely priced. We got Sam Adams ($4.95), a falafel plate ($9.50) and hummus ($7 I think). The falafel were donut shaped with a hole in the middle! That was fun. Came with a phat salad too with bomb pickles and pickled beet on it. The yogurt sauce which I typically don't like was better than the hummus! Wasn't yogurty at all! The hummus was good, on the pastier side, which Bryan and I both prefer. This was unexpectedly bomb.
I had no idea that this place would be so f'kn rad! Park on the street and drink mini-shots in/outside of the car with the regulars. Walk in, smoke hookah and grub.
The service was exquisite and attentive by the way.
I've never had a bad time at this place. The blonde gal we often get is really nice and tolerable of our indecisive behavior when ordering stuff. haha. I've been to alot of hookah places, and this may be the only place that doesn't serve BAD hookah. The flavors are always great and they never let your tobacco burn. They offer a free refill on your hookah  too! and you can even get a different flavor for your "refill" So it's more like "buy one, get one free"
The drinks are nice too. a glass of wine is about 5 bucks, but they give you a nice & healthy glass. Don't get a Pina Colada. They're weak.
The food is also very good. I was glad to see they updated the menu after they changed their name (before it was "O Cafe") Their "bowl of rice" was written as: "Bowel of Rice' - not very appetizing to read. But that's all fixed now! they give large portions of everything.
Sometimes the music is a bit too loud, or the lighting is too dim. But if you tell someone, they're always happy to turn it down..or turn up the lights. The workers here are very chill and understanding!
I used to come here when it was called "O Cafe" & it's still awesome now that its Skylounge. They changed their deco with a theme of blue and black (I like it). I don't know if the owner changed too, but nonetheless it's still a chill place.
I come here often and the service is always great, the hookah is yummy, PLUS free refills! (well, only sun-thurs). I do wish they had happy hour though :)
Oh & I recently tried their food, well the beef wrap (to be exact). OMG, wow it was delicious! For the price, you expect to get little meat and an "okay" wrap. But no, you get this juicy, soft, flavorsome meat-packed wrap + fries or a salad! I swear the meat melts in your mouth, lol. I'll definitely be back for another wrap!
Sky Lounge is a pretty good hookah bar. Much better than the Spot or the other ones found in the Valley / Los Angeles.
Lets start with the hookah. No matter what different type or mixture of flavor we got, they have all been short lived and mediocre. I have been here about four times and every time got something different expecting a longer lasting and more robust flavor - every time it was just mediocre. Nothing special about the hookah, although the refill is a nice touch.
If you bring a big group on a busy night, expect to sit in the loungey area instead of the main room. That's not too bad, I kind of like lounging so  it was ok for me. Also, expect to pay a minimum in big groups, which usually never ends up being a problem.
Their food is actually really good. I have ordered their salad, humus, and many of the kabob wraps and each one was delicious in its own right. Not too expensive either!
The service is usually really good. There's a young lady which I see pretty much every time I go and she makes sure to get us seated and served right away. Thumbs up to her!
Overall good experience, good music, decent prices, delicious food, all accompanied by mediocre hookah. Can't have it all I guess!
I was first introduced to Hooka on the east coast. Upon my return home, I Immediately needed to find a location that I could call " mine". Â I found place in Encino that I adore. However, my friend and co-worker told me to try "his" place...Sky, formally Cafe O. Â The first time I came here, I wasn't impressed. The lounge was still being finished and even on a Friday the place still seemed a bit empty. I'm also not a huge fan of indoor Hooka lounges. I didn't think I would be back
However, I have gone back about 3 or 4 times since then, and I must say I am very pleased with how this location has turned out. The night I went must have been a fluke, the place is always packed, the service is good and the Hooka is very smooth. I love sitting in the actual seating area as opposed to the lounge, but the lounge is very nice as well. It's really more in the company you bring that makes the night. Â I would recommend trying this place if you are in the area... you won't be disappointed.
Came here on Sunday night with a girlfriend...we were greeted and seated right away. Everyone there is suuuuuuper nice, like really nice I was really impressed. We sat down in one of their booths, the lighting is nice and blue really chill, the whole place, even the outside signs are blue too. Not much decor but I'm not sure what they would decorate it with anyway lol.The aroma of the the hookahs really fills the air, super sweet. We ordered the white peach hookah about $18, Meat hummus and the Falafel plate. Their portions are huge and between the two of us were barely finished it. I don't remember exactly how much everything is but it was def. affordable. They had the tv on at first and then they played music, a mix between songs that were on the radio and some middle eastern artists, I don't know for sure exactly where the artists are from so I won't be ignorant and try to guess. The music def set the mood. Had a group of people on the side and outside playin cards and it looked like they're regulars. It was a very chill night. The staff was super super sweet, we never went without a full cup. The parking def. hard, their spot only sits a few cars, so the best bet is to park on winnetka itself. It shares a lot with the smoke shop next door.
It is a place I want to visit again with a bigger group. I really liked the vibe this place has and honestly, it's really hard to find customer service like that!
This Hookah Lounge is probably the most complete one I've ever been too. Why?
1) Hookah is roughly $18-20 WITH a free tobacco refill
2) Service is amazing, the staff kept the hookah going and was very attentive
3) This is the first hookah spot I've been too other than The Spot that serves alcohol. Whats even better about it is that it is all priced a decent range. (Try the bucket of beer for $20)
4) Food is actually Persian. Believe it or not its quite hard to find an actual  hookah joint around here that actually serves authentic Middle Eastern food. They have fries, sandwiches, wings, Kabobs... a good variety. I personally would recommend any of the Kabobs.
5) Great vibe. Music isn't to loud, lots of comfortable seating.. very nice furniture and can accommodate very large groups easily.
The only issue I saw was that the parking was quite limited. You'd have to resort to the street parking and I was very fortunate to find myself going there on a slow day... but I could see issues with parking if it were on a Friday or Saturday night.
Overall, a great place. Although the Hookah isn't the best I've had.. the food, drinks, vibe, service and furnishing is the best I've seen in a hookah lounge.. ever.
This place was a really nice hookah spot. I went for the first time during the week. The hookah was great, the food was great, and both were reasonable priced. The service was awesome with the waitress and the guys who handle the hookahs. They also have a couple big tv's to watch sports and what ever else. I have been to a couple other hookah spots in the valley and by far this is the best one.
Review Source:4 star hookah, 3 star service.
We were seated promptly, and the seats are comfortable, with music not too loud.
When the waitress first came by to help us, she informed us that everyone in the party was required to order a drink (water didn't count) to get hookah. It wasn't a big problem, but it was unexpected and a little annoying.
There was a good variety of hookah flavors, but our waitress didn't even know what flavors some of the choices (which had interesting names) had in them, besides the straight forward ones like green apple and grape. She didn't have suggestions even when we asked. Still, the hookah ended up being good, and so was the hummus and pita bread that my table shared. The menu for both food and hookah is a little pricier than some other places, but I think the fact that they offer free hookah refills kind of makes up for that.
There were plenty of people working, but they didn't come around to check & change the coals often enough. In fact, we had to ask once or twice almost each time we needed them changed. A put-off for a hookah lounge.
Parking no good...u will have to find street spots
Music is a mix of hip hop and arabic and at some point during the evening there was a belly dancer but i saw very little of her.
Hookah was good, great variety as well. Flat screen TVs in rooms and couches were pretty comfy. Service was good as well.
I went to Sky Lounge for the first time last night. Â It's still has a lot of the Cafe O signage so be sure you're looking for it by address rather than business name. Â
There was a large group of us and we were easily accommodated with our own seating area. Â In fact, we were able to reserve half of the dining area for our own private party. Â
The atmosphere was typical of a combination hookah bar and restaurant: dim lighting, comfortable seating, and good music. Â The food was also really good. Â Although there isn't a full bar, Sky has a selection of wine and beers to go with your hookahs, which, by the way are actually very good. Â
The service here was great and the staff was very friendly. Â In all, it was a great night.
