Sloppy Joe's Bar

One of my favorite bars in Key West.  We came there for Spring Break and they had it all decked out for Spring Breakers.  My favorite part was the dance floor and the AMAZING live band who was playing that week.  They knocked it out of the park, playing covers of recently-released dance songs (think LMFAO) and also songs from our generation, showing they reaaally knew their audience ;) (think Backstreet Boys, Blink 182).  One of our funnest nights there.  The bouncers and security guards were super nice as well!

Sloppy Joe's, the v2.0 of Hemmingway's favorite spot.  If you take the tour of his place, you'll notice the urinal from the old location.  True story!  

Sloppy Joe's has live music, frozen and cold beverages available, and the food was good as well.  Wouldn't recommend the sloppy joe sandwich, it's nothing special, continue raising your mercury level on some seafood!!

Waitress was friendly and a bit flirty, yet effective and always on the ball with our requests.

It's the must-hit tourist stop, but man, the reputation is there for a reason.

We went here as part of an evening of checking out some of Key West's best known bars. We had a good time, although it was a bit loud. The sloppy joe nachos were a meal for the two of us.
