SOL

I showed up last Friday night with two of my girlfriends. First let me say "$10 cover charge for a bar in Carson!!!?" and there wasn't even a line to get in.  Why would 3 girls pay a 10$ cover. Sol u are not a destination Location. Your convenient.  Without having any cash to pay cover ( and even if I had cash and payed I would have been pissed that I did so, once I had got inside) The woman at the door offered us 20$ for all three of us to get in.  SERIOUSLY!? Apparently she didn't under stand we had no cash.  So asked how much for a bottle?   $200!  SOL, Hermosa is 10 mins away I've never had such a hassle trying to get into somewhere and a $200 bottle in Carson is ridiculous I can get one in Hermosa for a $100.  You gave me no incentive to want to come back! After 20 mins of trying to hassle with the door people we were finally let in without charge and i was so DISAPPOINTED.  Me and my girls felt so over dressed.  There were women inside wearing jeans and sandals.  Men with baggy clothes. And the DJ was horrible.  Also there was toilette paper on the floor by the bar.... Their floor was slippery....  SOL you look like u have so much potential but you need ALOT of work.  Dont charge pretty girls to get in when your music sucks and crowd isn't dressed to impress.  Free entrance for women who are properly dressed is a great incentive and we will bring MORE FRIENDS.  Pretty women brings in more men who will pay ur $10 cover.  P.S. clean up that toilette paper.  Classy deco does not make a classy establishment. It's the customer service.

Sol is one of my favorite spots in the greater L.A area!  Bartenders definitely keep me coming with those heavy pours..... just an overall great atmosphere..... should be poppin for the 4th of july!

Went here for first and only time on memorial day weekend.  I was not impressed by  by this place.  I should of listened to what others have written about the quality of the DJs.  I've experienced back yard party DJs better than the one spinning that evening.  Dude did not shut up during every song!!(Totally harshing my buzz).  I understand you need to know where all the single ladies are but damm it, do you have to shout it every 10minutes.  Also I'm not really into mexican corridos, especially if they are being mixed in with Hip Hop music. Who does that?  Ambiance was OK, small dance floor and plenty of couch space to sit.  Bar service was adequate but drinks were a bit on the weak side.
