This is regarding Sopraffinas in general not this location. Â I used to crave their salads but now they use subpar lettuce. Â Looks like something other restaurants throw away. Â The use of this subpar lettuce has completely ruined their salads and I no longer patronize these restaurants. Â I hope it was worth it to them.
Review Source:Sopraffina Market Cafe is a wonderful mixture of various Italian foods and salads, mostly prepared as you wait.
On some days, if the salad area has long of a line, I would opt for a pizza or sandwich, or something else. Â The choices are great and you are never at a loss to find something tasty and interesting. Â This location is also very convenient, since it's near the Sear Tower and the CTA El.
The concept is similar to ones found in other cities, including Minneapolis and Toronto. Â Sopraffina tried a suburban location a few years back in Deerfield, but for some reason it never took off and closed.
The food at Sopraffina is great and everything is fresh. Â I've taken clients and friends here, and we've never been disappointed. Â Expect to pay just under $10.00, unless you're very hungry and want to bring some back to the office for later.
The only drawback is that it can get crowded sometimes. Â So, there's always Potbelly's down the block.
