Very nicely done and has a feel of an eastside bar with an Okauchee location. A little pricier than other bars in the area - but hey its not your average slummy watering hole like most Okauchee taverns. The food is great also - the Spitfire burger is a must try!! Thanks for stepping it up in my town Spitfire! Appreciated in our neighborhood!
Review Source:Nice setup here!
This is the first time I've been back to this location in several years. Last I was here, it was a classic tavern called Victoria's, and now it's a nicely re-done restaurant/pub.
I was here meeting friends for some drinks. They had a reasonable beer selection, and the booze seemed to fulfill all the standard needs of a pub in SE Wisconsin. Â I did not eat food, but a couple other people in my group did. One was raving about the burger and fries he had, another guy with a fish fry said it was pretty tasty and that he'd been there before for the same time. (Return customer = good rating, in my book)
Nice experience. I look forward to going back.
Great location, friendly service, decent food and an outstanding dessert.
We stopped in here on a night of bar hopping in Okauchee last week. This was our third and last stop of the night.
Patrons at a bar we'd visited earlier warned us that Spitfire was a bit pricier, and not quite as casual as the other bars in this area, which is pretty true. However, you definitely don't have to be all dressed up to visit. We were fine in jeans.
The food selection is definitely a bit higher end than most of what is offered in Okauchee, so if you're looking for a break from the traditional fried food, Spitfire might be for you. We were looking for comfort food and went with the mac and cheese, which was only okay... but I also got the vanilla pound cake thing for dessert, and it was outstanding. I don't remember the last time I ordered dessert at a restaurant, so this was a real treat - it didn't disappoint.
