The service was great they treated me like they knew me and the regulars treated me as a friend. The food was great and I had a hookah which was nice to have in a sports bar..great place to hang out with friends watch sports and have a good meal with great drinks...they don't cheat you here on drinks you really get what you pay for...overall had a blast and it will be my new spot...lol that just happens to be the name.

A couple of friends and I went to The Spot for the first time on Friday (very spontaneous). We had a blast! So much so that we returned Saturday night with our husbands and had a wonderful time.
The owners and Staff at The Spot Bar and Grill are very friendly and accomodating. The prices of the food and drinks are excellent.

It is clean bar and WAS a cool place to hang out. My message:Don't go here on karaoke night if you can sing!!...my husband was asked not to participate because he CAN sing and they didn't want  any professionals singing. Well thanks because he is a professional but isn't karaoke open to everyone? We both go around the metro area finding spots and actually enjoy hearing other people regardless if they can hold a tune or not. He's not about showing off but sharing his God given talent. That was some down right hateration. Do I need to say that came from our own people?..Who does that? Only in Georgia!

The Spot is a really cool spot. (That sounds redundant). The Spot is a really cool place. (That's better). It is the kind of place you can hit up if you just want to chill at the bar, or if you want to get a group together at a fun spot (still sounds weird). It is also the kind of place where you may go in alone, but within minutes you find yourself engaged in conversation with the employees or other patrons. It used to be more of a dive bar, but they recently remodeled and has a nice, sheik vibe to it. Comfortable couches, nice lighting, pool tables. There is a small dance floor which gets used once in a while when someone is feeding the jukebox, and when someone in the bar has had too much to drink.

Food is actually pretty good. Friends have talked up the wings. A foodie friend of mind loves the Indian Chicken Botti Roll. Drinks are priced okay, pitchers are very reasonable. Daily food and drink specials.

I used to come here a lot when they allowed smoking, not so much anymore.

Overall a nice little hangout. Spot on!

Cool place but not up there with the best area sports bars. My buddies and I visited here yesterday to watch the Falcons-Giants playoff game. The visit we had here went much better than the game outcome.

The Spot is a bit surreal. The Spot Bar and Grill shares a parking lot with a gas station and a car wash. Parking is real tight in front, and I didn't check whether additional parking is available behind the building.

The place is very clean and open -- decorated very nicely (perhaps too nicely) given the location / proximity to a gas station. I wish The Spot was a bit more of a dive bar; pool tables adorn one corner area; two poker tables are in another corner area.

Servers are attentive and friendly; however, food was a mixed bag. My friend said his turkey club was atypical, tasty and filling. My wings were good but odd - scrawny and seasoned with Korean chili garlic relish (Sambal Olik?) -- at least the wings were fried well and piping hot.

I think the waitress said she gave me extra wings at no extra charge due to the scrawniness issue. Ranch Dressing accompanying the wings was from a bottle and of inferior quality. Celery and carrot sticks also were included on the plate but without blue cheese dressing (out of stock that day or not on menu?), I left them uneaten.

We ran up a pretty good bar tab since we were here drinking from 1pm to 6pm; our waitress comped us some free billiard / pool time. I'd rate this place higher if they had wider / better beer selections. My buddies and I pretty much stuck with pitchers of Yuengling.

All pitcher prices here are $10 and I wish they had better prices on these. It's a shame because we all live close by and the place is certainly convenient and central to where we all live (Chamblee-Tucker-Norcross). Looking forward to visiting on a Friday or Saturday night.

Nice place; my wife and I visited last night. The Spot Bar and Grill shares a parking lot with a gas station and a car wash. Parking is real tight in front, and I didn't check whether additional parking is available behind.

The place is real clean and open -- decorated very nicely. Pool tables adorn one wall; two poker tables are in the center. The servers were attentive and friendly. Food was wonderful -- at least the wings and cheese steak we had.

I'd rate this place higher were they to have a better assortment of beer. You can't imagine a more pedestrian selection. I understand that not everyplace can provide microbrews on tap, but at least offer us a Guinness. It's a shame too, because we live close-by and the place is convenient.

The Spot Bar & Grill is a hole in the wall type of joint located next to a gas station and car wash, When you walk in you are surround by pool types, food tables, loud rap music, ghetto men and women trying to get hooked up, yelling, waitress with a chip on their shoulders. Food prices are kind of expensive for the type of spot it is but fries are good, DO NOT TRY THERE HOOKAH YOU WILL GET DIZZY AND SICK TO THE POINT YOU THINK YOU GONNA DIE TRUST ME JUST DONT!!!!!!!!!!! You have to pay for a $10 membership just to take part of their weekly activities, there chairs are little to high to sit in and feel comfortable, there drinks are full of sugar so you better not be on a diet, also there site is out of date so dont believe what you see there and also they got rid of the belly dancing The spot is what it is Just A SPOT!!!

I needed a bar somewhere between Lawrenceville and East Atlanta in which to meet a friend and decided upon Spot Bar.

First, location. Yes, it's attached to a gas station. As I was driving down Britt Road, it was so dark that I was freaking out a bit. But then there was light - the shiny new gas station that is neighbor to Spot Bar.

I love the layout of this bar. A couple of lounging areas, a few pool tables (although I suck at pool, I miss seeing pool tables in bars), and several low and high-top tables. I like how they've used the space, but I wish the bar were longer; it only seats about 10 people.

The menu is typical bar food like wings and cheese sticks with a few Indian items like the botti roll (pronounced like "gotti"). The manager recommended the chicken botti roll which we both ordered. What makes the botti roll different is the bread (sort of like fried flatbread) and the Indian seasonings (tasty but not exciting). The botti roll was served with seasoned fries like the kind you get at Rally's (this shows you how long it's been since I had a seasoned fry); not awesome but doable. The drink menu is standard - margaritas, daiquiris, beer, etc. They have a lot of food specials so any night of the week you're likely to have something at a reduced price.

Service was initially good. The manager took our order, but then he left and the kids were in charge. I say kids because they all looked pretty young - under 25. The kids weren't as attentive. I had to go to the bar to get a refill on my soda, I had to go to the bar to ask for my check, and I had to go to the bar to get change to pay my check. The young lady who served us was nice though.

This is a bar for regulars and I think me and my friend kind of threw them off because we were the only newbies in the room. Several people came and went, and they mostly (if not all) knew each other.

My friend and I agreed that Spot Bar will continue to be our in-between meeting spot. We can have wings, a drink and catch up, and that's really all a bar needs to do for us - most of the time.

P.S. They do hookah here.  I'm not a big hookah fan (germ phobias), but if you're not, yay!

I've always been skeptical about eating at places connected to a gas station but this one keeps me coming back. Part bar, part restaurant, part dance floor, part Arcade, part pool hall, and lastly, part hookah lounge, the place has everything. They opened up about a year ago and as some of the first customers we got to talk to the manager a bit. You'll see him there every night in his yellow mustang. a young red haired kid always with a smile on his face. The girls working here are absolutely gorgeous full figured women who are also very friendly and flirty. How could you not love the setting here? Every night is another special event. 99 cent chili dogs, 50 cent wings, even free hookah on Sundays!

The wings deserve an award of their own. A good bit of meat on them, cooked hot and if you ask for it, will be extremely spicy. By spicy i mean absolutely soaked in Sriracha sauce, which even for myself and Mexican friend was a challenge to finish. A challenge leaving us sweaty, drunk, and completely satisfied! Other food like the chili dogs and the fries are also very good and the meal is ready pretty fast.

The music here is a mixed bunch. You'll get hip hop one night and alternative 90's the next. Since it relies on an internet jukebox its really up to whoever picks it. Another interesting thing is the bathrooms have black toilets and sinks, which goes with the colour theme. A lot of the restaurant has a unique style the manager said was his design. Even the menus fold out to form a red round "Spot". Way cool.

My friend and I have gone here 3 times already on different night and always have a good time. On top of visiting often, if you bring back your Spot card its 10% off. Great deal and great people here.
