I love karaoke and I love that this place is right next to my go to place for Korean BBQ.  They can get pretty busy on the weekends so I always make a reservation if I'm planning to come here during the weekend . Service is good and the prices are comparable to other karaoke places.

Came by last night, and definitely stayed WAY longer than I had anticipated. The music selection is quite extensive and they are pretty updated on current pop music. Sang songs from back in the day, to songs that felt like JUST came out on the radio.

Ordered almost 5 pitchers of beer, some wings, and got the fruit tray. Everyone was definitely having a good time. Got one of the largest rooms there since we were with a group of roughly 15.

Decided to split the tab with another sweet friend since it was our friend's birthday, and left before they could realize we paid. :]

Overall, great night out with friends. Maybe next time, I'll try the food out. Yogurt soju seems to always a be a hit amongst my group of friends. So... definitely give that a try.

All of my life, I knew I was destined to be a rockstar, via guitar shredding or laying some notes with my monster wind pipes.  NEVER going to a karaoke place to showcase my skills in public, it was about time.

A few weeks ago, I had the chance, and the cool thing- it wasn't too far from home!  With a lounge/bar up front, and a few private rooms, our group got one of the rooms.  The first thing I realized was that everything was in Korean (life lesson for the day, always keep a Korean on call when going to karaoke).  Thankfully there was a few (in fact, they are some of the best singers I have heard in person, wooow!) in our group.

Service was fast and friendly, and not sure how it was set up (hell, I was still buzzing from the beer and soju from the dinner @ Sun and Moon Cafe), except one TV on one wall, and another behind us.   They brought us some beer munchie snacks and the drinks kept on coming.

At first, I was surprised at the music videos that were playing in the background, until I realized when we played some Beatles, that John, Paul, Ringo and George were NOT Asian.  But it was still cool!  So first timers- don't expect to see the authentic videos.

From pop, to heart breakers, to rap, oldies, and metal, there is something for everyone.  I was indeed shocked by the amount of Pantera and Slipknot to choose from.

The remote is all in Korean, but thankfully the interface is simple to use once someone shows you whats what (like the "applause" button- my favorite one).  If you don't feel like browsing through the bible of tunes, you can type the name of artist or song and it will show up on screen.

All in all, I had a great time, and close to a five star experience.  Will definitely have to keep this place in the back of my head the next time I go shred!

PS- who's in with me next year for the Korean World Championships?
