Everything about this place was strange.
First of all, there's no people. I went on a Thursday night for some event that was supposedly taking place, but it never happened. Nevertheless, a DJ was on stage, pumping the music... to an empty dance floor.
The decor is like a cross between a club and an old library. Large oil-painting were hanging on the walls above velvet couches, all under strobe lights. Very bizarre concept. Doesn't make me want to dance or drink at all.
Lastly, the bar. The bartenders are friendly enough, but since there are no customers, I don't see how they could be otherwise. The glasses, again, are oddly-shaped and they have nothing on draft, so beer drinkers should be advised to head elsewhere for their nightcap.
Bottom line, this place needs to get some serious PR going. It's a fairly nice space, but with no people in it, it may as well be on death row.
