Buttons

Buttons is the bar in the Marriott hotel.  Located right off of the lobby- this place is a respite for travelers and locals alike.

The low key, contemporary environment with tones of beige and brown soothes from the second you step in the door.  If pool is your game- there is a pool table in the back surrounded by club chairs and banquettes.  There are also plenty of TV's scattered about to catch your favorite game.  And the music list that is playing is loud enough to hear, but not so loud that you have to shout to be heard.

During my visits- the crowd was predominately male-but I felt comfortable sitting at the bar and enjoying my cocktail.  Like beer?  There are probably a dozen or so on tap and the bottle list is pretty good as well.  The menu includes bar food, a specialty cocktail list and my favorite, a list of some pretty good desserts.

Hotel bars are never much to write about but Buttons delivers on the basics just fine.
