This place is dying if it hasn't already been considered dead. The atmosphere is terrible, the service is poor, and there's hardly anyone at their events to mingle with! Price of drinks don't bother me because I expect to spend money when I go out, but $4.00 for a bottled water? Save your money and go somewhere else! This place isn't even worth a $5 admission. Two thumbs down because I only have two hands.
Review Source:Ever wonder where carnies go for a good time? Ever wonder what a carpeted bar smells like? Ever think, gee I sure would like to wait in line for over an hour to get into this concert? If so, you can find the answers at Wild Bill's.
After being offered a free ticket to see Montgomery Gentry with some friends, I ventured out to Wild Bill's on a Friday night. The opening act was supposed to start around 9, so we showed up around 9:30. Â The parking lot was packed so we had to park at the near by mall. Â This was only moderately sketchy in comparison to the rest of the night.
Then the waiting game began. Â We had seen the line but thought surely that can't be the will call line. Wrongo. The line was wrapped all the way around the building. We would occasionally walk up to the front to see why it was moving so slowly and realized that cutters were the culprit. Â I don't hate many things, but I hate a line cutter. After an hour in the freezing cold a rent-a-cop showed up and line started actually moving. Whoever thought one door for a concert venue that holds 5,000 was a good idea needs to rethink every decision they have ever made.
After paying $3 for coat check (it was worth it, the room was super hot), we entered into the madness. Despite the smell, I actually like the way the room is set up with a huge floor in the middle and then tiered levels around it. It was relatively easy to work our way to the middle for the show. Â The show was good and drink prices were standard. There are several full bars as well as several beer carts around the room.
The clientele is 18 and up and I believe under 21 have to pay an additional $5. Be warned, there are some real sketch people at Wild Bills. Â You will hear and see things that you never could have anticipated. After the show people stick around to dance and line dance. Â I'm a sucker for a good line dance I gotta say. Â It was a hilariously entertaining evening, but Wild Bill's is not my favorite.
