I just moved into the area about a month ago. I have passed Stella's several times and I wondered what it was all about.
Well I went on a Thursday night. It was pretty darn busy. $1.00 beers was the reason. Now if I was still a beer drinker I would have been in heaven. They still had good prices on drinks.
I would say it is a local somewhat dive bar BUT sometimes those are the best bars to go to. Super friendly bartender. Friendly regulars and good tunes on the juke box. Pool tables and typical bar food menu.
I will say I am sure I will be back. It's close to home and it's a laid back super casual atmosphere.
Cheers to Stella's. :)
I love dive bars! This place totally qualifies too. The carpet is nasty, some of the bar stools are held together with duct tape and on some nights they have karaoke.
There are pool tables, dart boards and a music player on the wall. There is a full kitchen in the back, and from what I understand, they serve food. I don't believe it, nor would I ever eat there. Michael's Pizza is next door and will deliver inside the bar, which no one has a problem with.
Beers are a dollar on Thursday and I am pretty sure Monday night has buckets of beer for like 5 bucks. This place is my favorite local hangout. Everyone is welcome and a dirty old man will probably buy you a shot!
