Zacatacos

I grew up in the city so Im not going to lie and say these are the best tacos ever, but I will say they are in my top 10. Now, I only eat carne asada, but everyone I was with likes other varieties, and they did not enjoy their tacos. Even though I thought mine were great, I can't give it more stars because of these following reasons.

1. I ordered a fresh juice, and the waitress came back telling me they didn't have a juice extractor. Lol Take it off the menu perhaps?

2. I have a toddler and ordered a small plate of beans to give him with chips, and they tasted bad. Like out of the can refried beans. And I still had to pay for the plate.

3. I ordered a milkshake, and she told me it would take a while since the berries were frozen. I don't know what difference that makes, but it did take a LONG while.

4. The waitress actually told my niece not to order too much food or else she would get too fat. I'm not joking here. Here comes the best part...she said "I was very fat before. I was probably like her or even fatter". Pointing at me!!! We laughed it off, but she made us feel very uncomfortable. My niece is a size 12 and Im a size 14/16. We aren't skinny by any means, but we are not 300 pounds either. So uncalled for, but we ignored her and just saw her as a dumbass trying to make conversation.

5. I do have to take into consideration that even though I loved my tacos, nobody else liked their selections.

I guess I'll comeback since my niece fell in love with the tall guy behind the register, and I did like my asada tacos. I'll just take them to go, and feed my kid some where else.

Bolingbrook has quite a few taquerias but I think this place has the best carne asada tacos of the lot. Both the red and green salsas are tasty with a decent kick of chiles.

Rating the bare minimum here because thats what i ended up with on my plate...first of all why do i need a waitress at this place??? is there a reason i cant ask for a taco, torta or burrito all by myself?? What the hells that waitress going to do for me that i can't do in a taco express like this place?? i don't need to leave a tip to someone for bringing me over my chips and plate...stick a soda fountain there and ill get my own drink.....so i ordered a chicken torta and my friend had a steak burrito...recommended by someone on one of the reviews who has no taste obviously...i was starving...what came to my table just made me sit back and shake my head...knew i shouldnt of came here i said....they gave me a torta that taco bell would of had more meat on one of their tacos...no im not lying either...hey chef....I NEVER EVEN TASTED THE CHICKEN you put on my torta! i looked across the table at a "burrito" that was half the size of any other i've ever ordered anywhere...i asked how the steak was and he said it's more like shredded beef than steak...figures...dont you owners get it....all we want when we go to these taco joints is alot of food...roll it up in a tortilla....and thats it! thats all you have to do...even if the food sucks we cant tell because its all rolled together....but yet allllll the taco places in the suburbs seem to not be able to get it right....because you're cheap and skimping us....and you know people will still come because when you're drunk or its late....there's nothing else...theres no way this place is going to stay open...even in bolingbrook...full of the only kind of people that would even THINK this food is good...yes bolingbrooks a dump and everyone knows it.....zaca tacos charges 4.50 for torta's that should be sold for quarters by the dozen...read my review and if you still choose to go get bamboozled....you'll be sitting there sayin that guy on yelp was exactly right....review DONE.
