The 10th Hole Pub on Boughton Road is rather small, but that is what makes it one of my favorite spots to visit with friends while drinking a few cold beers with a bite to eat. Â Unlike many "sports bars," which in my opinion are too large, over crowded, and over-priced, the 10th Hole Pub has a real neighborhood feel to the atmosphere. Â
Manager Jimmy Sawyer and his staff are very friendly and are truly concerned that everyone is having a nice experience. Â Rather than being another face in the crowd trying to elbow a space at the bar to order a beer, the small size of the 10th Hole Pub lends it's staff ask your name and make you feel welcome and relaxed.
Having the usual beers on tap and in bottles along with the standard pub food (and full-service bar for mixed drinks) there are two special events you will not want to miss: Monday Night Football and Friday Night Fish Fry. Â
Monday Night Football features specials on draft beer (served in unique pitchers with internal "ice pockets" to keep your beer cold, and a great FREE dinner buffet! Â This place is a real bargain!
Friday Night Fish Fry is an all you can eat affair best enjoyed with a large mug of cold beer, but come early as seating can be a problem. Â Highly recommended.
