Wow, best service I've had in a long time. I ordered bacon and eggs- bacon was thick and cooked right, not the paper thin stuff you see everywhere else, eggs cooked to order and hot, plus I could see the chef prepare the food! My wife ordered an omelet- they call it "the Tuscan". Clean, delicious, just great. In reference to the reviews below. I don't believe this place is McDonald's, you can't substitute what ever you want to get a lower price. Plus would you want to? Then a responsible adult wouldn't be cooking your food, you would definitely receive lower quality ingredients and you would probably have a server that's not allowed to have more than one table or be over 18. And I checked out Google reviews, they have a much better score than most restaurants. I will definitely be back again and again and support this locally owned business.
Review Source:I have eaten many times at Stricker's and it is a fantastic affordable brunch for my family of four. Â The service is solid, the food is hot and the portions are very generous. Â I have had most every menu item, and have not been disappointed. Â If you are in Jeffersonville, you must stop in and eat at Strickers!
Review Source:I've had breakfast here twice. Both times the food was decent enough. It's nothing special but it's definitely edible and cheap. I think IHOP is probably a tastier option for the same price but both times I've gone here there's been no wait and the food's come out quickly.
I would recommend this place if you're in the Jeffersonville area but I probably wouldn't make a special trip just to go here.
Unlike the previous reviewer, I've had no problems with service either time. Both times, I was greeted immediately and my coffee was never empty. I don't necessarily think it's fair to blame a server for not being able to make substitutions because usually it's a business' policy and the servers are unable to change it (even if they don't agree with it). That's not a problem with service, it's a problem with the management.
From their unseasoned and barely edible food to their waiter who was completely unwilling to make any menu substitutions I found Strickers Cafe to be the most disappointing breakfast I've eaten in quite some time.  As I searched their dated and boring menu for something to eat I settled on cinnamon roll french toast.  However, that particular french toast  is significantly more expensive than the others because it includes a side of bacon, ham, or sausage.  I don't eat pork so after checking the menu to make sure that they were price equivalent I asked the waiter to substitute hash browns for the pork products offered.  Nope, absolutely not.  Most places are at least aware enough to allow an equivalent side substitution for non-pork eaters if they are so far behind times as to not offer turkey bacon or turkey sausage.  So, I had to completely change menu items and order pancakes and a separate side of hash browns.  I really wish I hadn't ordered anything at all and had just left and gone somewhere else because what I was served was so awful.  The pancakes tasted like they were a store brand version of bisquick and seemed to turn into glue in my mouth.  The hash browns had no seasoning at all, not even salt or pepper.  My boyfriend said they tasted like an "unseasoned warmed up raw potato".  I took one bite of the hash browns, two bites of the pancakes, and left hungry.  So hungry in fact that we had to stop on the way home and pick up some breakfast elsewhere.  Suffice it to say we will NEVER revisit Strickers Cafe and I would recommend avoiding this place.
