Stumble Stilskins

Stumbles could be the exact place you want to go to if you are looking for a happening bar scene on most weekend nights. They pack in plenty of people and generally there is a diverse range of drinkers there from Creeping Toms to "regular folk" to newly christened 21-23 year olds looking to hit the town. And while this is certainly a great way to spend an evening, the knock on Stumbles is that you could spend an evening like this at about 5 other bars throughout Greensboro.

        There is nothing to set Stumbles apart from other bars who are trying similar tactics (to varying degrees of success) like live music, karaoke, Sunday NFL Ticket, and seasonal beers. They are a pro-Patriots bar. And, given the right mood and the right group of people, you can have a phenomenal time. But given the pedestrian food and the (by comparison to better bars) average selection of beer I would suggest staking your claim at one of the better and similarly priced bars in the Downtown Greensboro area. As always, check it out for yourself because it certainly is worth a look, but manage your expectations.

Whenever I have to travel to Greensboro, NC for work I love stopping into this local spot for a drink.

The "Guinness" was more water than beer, the long island ice tea tasted like just sour mix. The cheese on the fries is the fake nacho stuff. The service was not bad though, however not nearly good enough to make up for the horrible food and drinks being served.
