Blu Martini

If you have light-sensitive epilepsy, do not enter here. A beacon of blu sheds light onto a dimly lit Elm Street four nights a week. The list of drinks is not inexpensive, but IS extensive. VIP booths, bright and white line a light-sensitive rainbow colored wall, in an attempt to be trendy. The bathrooms are full of attempts to be trendy too. No attendant, but if you take a friend with you, she'll pass you a roll of toilet paper, I'm sure.

I did not even know this South Beach"y" type bar was here. My buddy and I were walking by and on the other side of the street and we were like to moths to a flame as our feet carried us across the road and when we went in, we bellied up to the electrified bar top and had a nice clean gin and tonic with two limes and it was smooth and tasty. The vibe here is definitely more date like or talking to the opposite sex than two male friends hanging out for a drink before we passed our "curfews" on a week night. I will go back.

I really likes the idea of what the blu martini is all about but I wasn't impressed with the dress code policy nor with how it was handle by the bouncer. But I returned because I like checking out new venues. The drinks are over priced, but they are very clean and decor is impressive. The few times I have went there wasn't many people with a little bit more work on the few things I mentioned it could by a top stop in our Greensboro downtown area.
