I am writing only about the pizza.
I was a little skeptical about the ingredients going in but when my pizza came out it was much better quality than I had expected.
23-26$ for the giant.
19-22$ for the large.
16-19$ for the medium.
crust was pretty good but nothing to rave about.
on the bbq chicken it wasn't your average processed chicken smothered in sauce, it was actually chicken breast I believe, torn up. It was a hair dry, but I would take that over processed chicken any day of the week.
3 stars, A-OK. I would go back if in the area. yet to try gatehouse though.
I'm here for the jojos! Whenever I'm craving them, Sundown hits the spot.
They're HUGE and they cook them up fresh, they're not your grocery store, sitting under heat lamps for God knows how long, jojos. The seasoning is absolutely delightful. They're my favorite treat and dietary cheat when I'm craving fries.
In general, chicken does nothing for me but Sundown's chicken is good! The pizza is yummy too.
Great business all around, give them a try!
This was the first time my husband and I had been here, we came in a half hour before they closed.
The cook/cashier was awesome he made us a fresh 12 piece chicken with 1 lb of jo jo's, we had to go over to rays and he said they would be done in 25 min I showed back up 3 minutes before they were out of the fryer.
The chicken was the freshest, tastiest chicken ever I found it better than kfc, it was less salty, had a lot of flavor, and was super juicy.
I am giving 5 stars because the service was awesome, and the chicken phenominal :-)
