  Went with an out-of-town friend to sit on the water and catch up.  It was a beautiful Sunday afternoon.  As expected the deck was full and a band was playing so we sat in the upstairs balcony to be able to hear each other.
  
  Service was good and prompt.  Unfortunately the ribs my friend had were fatty and weak in flavor - he didn't finish them.  I had the mahi mahi which was good; got their onion rings as a side and they were thin and lacked flavor because of it.
  
  The atmosphere in the summer is party mode which is a lot of fun.  I wanted to check the food out because I had not been hearing anything good and it turns out they were right.

  I love this place. Great food, great view, and great specials and entertainment. Highly suggest Thursdays.....it's $2 drafts and $.50 oysters. This is definitely my new spot. I only wish I had found it sooner.
  
  Oh and they have a free shuttle called the flip flop that picks you up and drops you off from where ever you are.

  your typical after work/weekend hang out for the working man. probably a good place to watch sports.  however, the $.25 oysters are medicore at best.  but a lot of an OK thing is sometimes as good as a little of a amzing thing. right?

  Just recently returned from a trip to CT. Had the opportunity to try out this place . I was very surprised at how good the food was. I picked this place because of other reviews I read and I wanted to go to a place that kids would enjoy as well .We were seated in the upstairs dining room with a great view of the Niantic river  Our server was excellent, she was nice to our kids, and supplied them with coloring books and crayons. When I saw the menu I was really surprised at some of the choices you wouldn't expect to see things like aioli or a coulis on a typical Rib joint menu, I had the baby back ribs( they were perfectly cooked )with onion rings and the garlic mashed potatoes. My wife had the scallops done in wine w/ a panko breading. Everything tasted great , it all tasted fresh. All in all a great meal and I would recommend this place to people and I hope to get back up there one day soon.
