This is a Sports Bar.  It is not fancy, ultra modern or trendy, but a perfect place to watch a game (especially if your hometown team doesn't get any respect on Houston Television).  The place it a touch dingy, but nothing to be concerned about.  The waitstaff has never been anything but awesome, even on busy game days.

The food is decent pub food, the tater tots and nachos being the best.  All pretty cheap.  They have $6 standard domestic pitchers on Saturday and Sunday for football games which is a great deal.

Get there early when your team plays at the same time as the Texans.

Went there to watch a Texans game. First thing I noticed was how dirty it was. Inside not so bad. We are smokers so we went outside in the back on the patio to smoke and that is when it got disgusting. Not one waitress/waiter ever went back there to see if anyone needed anything. Just one little television on the corner in a box. The fence and deck was rotting away. The buildings paint was mostly falling off. The lights on the building weren't even working, but the worst thing was on the walls of the club were drawings of all kinds of body parts and people telling you were to go. They were all written in the dirt on the windows and the side of the bar. They haven't been cleaned in years. We were going to try the food there but I thought if it was that dirty of what we could see I hate to see the kitchen.

This place was sold not long ago and I thought if someone buys a club you think they would fix it up a little. They used to have shade in the back but after the hurricane they never put them back up. This sports club is the perfect candidate of the show "Bar Rescue" but I am not sure they could even help.

This place is a little too dingy and run down for my place. It would be different if the atmosphere itself was cool but it's not.
One of the waitresses that works here has an attitude problem and is in attentive, so we ended up getting drinks from the bar even though we had a table.

The worst part was that all 3 toilets in the restroom weren't working. Gross!

This bar is pretty out of the way from where I live, but we started coming here after our kickball games. I guess some people would classify it is a "dive bar," though I think it's borderline dive-sports bar mix. Cheap beer, good service, fairly clean for the most part. The women's bathrooms leave a bit to be desired, but that's standard in most of these places. I've never ordered food, but plenty of my friends have and no one seems to complain. There is one menu item that I sample every time my lovely friend orders it--the chicken caesar salad. Don't scoff. It's awesome with a capital A. Serious the best bar salad I've ever had. Fresh lettuce, perfect chicken, just the right amount of caesar dressing. Try it. Then scoff if you must.

We have become regulars here and I can't believe I haven't written a review.  It's probably because I think about writing a review for T-Bones while walking in...then I have a few beers and do not remember this review business when I am walking out.  Makes sense.  We moved to the Oak Forest/Garden Oaks area last year, as we left our beloved Montrose behind and needed to find some new places to go play pool and have a few drinks!  After trial and error we found T-Bones.  It is a huge sports bar with beer, wine and cocktails, 4 dart boards, shuffleboard, and 3 pool tables.  It is pretty convenient to get to if you live in the area.  There are no hipsters here, this is not the Grand Prize.  I can wear whatever I please in here and they are not going to care.  They have good food actually!  I like the fried pickles!  And that's saying a lot.  They have crawfish by the pound when it is in season and a good happy hour.  We come here to relax and play pool, plus they have a nice patio when the weather is decent.  If you are in the area, and not tied up at Petrol or Cottonwood, I would highly recommend checking this place out!

Great little hangout spot nestled in between Heights and Oak Forest. Don't judge the place by its cover, its a great bar despite being in a shopping center. Great prices on alcohol, food could be better!

A typical neighborhood sports bar complete with karaoke and slow bartender that takes too long to serve anyone that isn't a regular. The crowd seems pretty laid back and older. The parking lot/strip center seemed a little sketchy but that did not reflect on the clientele. Not a bad place to grab a drink on your way home but don't expect it to be a "big night on the town".

This is a good place to watch a game or just grab a beer with a few friends. It's very laid back and they usually have some kind of special going on. Service does suffer during big games, but it's that way with any bar. They have good food and although I'm not a crawfish fan my friends love them! My food item of choice is their fried pickles. Mmm :)

My fave sports bar since moving to Houston. I love the mix of football fans on Sundays. TV's & sports galore. Typical bar food menu, but man it's totally the best bang for my buck. everything here is decently priced & tastes great! $6 pitchers for football games on Sundays & you def have to try the broccoli balls, mmph. the patio is great. it's right off W TC Jester so it's not too noisy w all the traffic during the day. you'll prob find me here on any given Sunday. oh, also they have a pool table & a few arcade games. go for it.

First of all I like T-Bones. My review reflects the state of the men's and women's restrooms. They are horrible. Change your ways TBone and the people will come. That being said it is a good place to hang for a beer with friends. Friendly staff that remember you. Good food and reasonable price's on everything.  The deck is cool too.

I like this place and have been coming here since 01'. We made it the place to be after work.

The crawfish is a big part of the reason we frequent besides just being close to our dwelling.  The Phillies are also tastey and fullfilling as well.

Karaoke gets a little crazy with peole that should not be singing but also gives us lots of laughs (and a few headaches).

I know the restrooms are not kept up with and have not had any updates so this is a downturn for all of us but will still give 3 stars

Check it out during happy hour if you are looking for a place to just get started.

    Good Luck to all

For a neighborhood dive bar, this place is pretty okay.  The staff is excellent - considering there is usually just two waitresses to man the entire slew of HSSC players that come in on Mon, Tues, Wed or Thurs.  The tator tots are awesome and their drinks are reasonably priced.  There are plenty of games to play...arcade games, shuffle board..even one of those punching bag things.  Ample parking.  The only issue I have is the bathroom...to get to the girls' bathroom, you have to pass by the mens' room door which is usually always open.

Who knew T-bones could make a wicked chicken Philly! We have been coming here every Thursday night now after our kickball games and so far everyone seems to be enjoying themselves here.

The bartenders here are great as well, they never mess up my order or my tab especially when this place is packed! To entertain yourself they have darts, pool, shuffle board and a few arcade game.

Cheap beer, good food, and lots of entertainment ranging from tv's to pool tables, shuffle board, darts, and my fave...GOLDEN TEE. Beware of league nights because it can get pretty crowded.

    Loving T-bones!

It's in shady part of town, but it's super fun inside!

Cheap drinks and surprisingly good food. I think my favorites are the jalapeno poppers, chips and queso and the burger is actually not bad.

I've also become pretty good at shuffleboard...if I may say so myself!

I hadn't even realized that T-Bones was KC's until Ms. Farrah and I were talking about good crawfish in the area. Turns out we were talking about the same place!

I came here long ago to visit a friend of mine who bartends. It was an interesting crowd that varies from people just getting off work to the more..."tough crowd.".

The bar itself has a lot of room which you wouldn't assume from the exterior.  They have tvs everywhere, pool tables, dart boards, and a large outdoor patio.

They're pretty famous for their crawfish and I've had it before when it was phenomenal. The last time I went though, it was a little late in the season and the bugs just weren't that good. The seasoning and flavor was still all there, but they probably should have just stopped serving crawfish a little earlier in the season.

T-Bones is a bit out of the way for me which I why I rarely go out there. That being said, with it's close proximity to Papa Geno's, I may find myself in the neighborhood more often!

Driving along W T.C. Jester near 610, you'll come across a bar with a prosaic name that doesn't look like much from the outside, in a strip center behind the Foodarama. But once inside, it's actually a pretty nice sports bar, with plenty of flat screen TVs and ample space for patrons. There are pool tables and dart boards in almost their own little rooms to one side, with shuffleboard, and Golden Tee spread throughout. The patio out front is a great spot on a nice day.

My first time in was not long after I moved into the neighborhood, and I stopped by to do some reconnaissance to determine whether it'd be a good spot to invite friends for football on Saturday. I was immediately welcomed by a friendly bartender, who offered me a "welcome to the neighborhood" beer after we got to talking, and a fellow patron sitting at the bar. We talked some football, and it immediately became apparent that "neighborhood" is the operative word here, with a good mix of young and old, blue collar and white - just people from the neighborhood relaxing and having a good time. Even Alice - of Tall Texan fame - pulled up stool next to mine.

We came the next day to watch football, and we started off with some lunch and beers. The burgers are big and juicy, and the nachos come piled high on a plate. The chips and salsa we started with were quite good (no Pace here), and they have an item positively worthy of the State Fair: deep-fried broccoli cheese balls. Gluttonous bliss. I did, however, use the phrase "sports bar" earlier rather than "sports pub" as their sign proclaims because, while they do have fish and chips, they were less than stellar. The crispy exterior was seasoned but perhaps overfried, the fish was mushy inside, and it was served with regular old clear distilled white vinegar, rather than the reddish malt vinegar. Stick to the usual bar food, and they do a great job. There wasn't enough bourbon in the bar to help the Horns against UCLA that day, but we had great time at the bar nonetheless.

It's great to sit out on the patio after work just around the corner from my house at this neighborhood watering hole. The bartender from that first night has remembered my name on each subsequent visit.

Plenty of room and a big patio.
Good jukebox, 3 pool tables and 2 dart boards...i like the pool table area by the shuffle board..if you have a big group you can kinda have your own party up there..
Waitstaff is great and its a great place to watch any kind of sports...
I always order the Blues Burger w/Onion Rings when im hungry...
...and did i mention, the beer is always cold :-)

Karaoke nights are the best nights to go to T-Bones (formerly KC's Bar and Grill).  At most bars it seems like the people participating in Karaoke are those that are challenged by their friends after some liquid courage, but at T-Bones the patrons really seem to take their Karaoke seriously. I've seen some of the most unassuming bar patrons hit all the notes on some of the most challenging Broadway songs. The wait staff is attentive, but the drink prices are nothing to write home about. Their food is average at best, they do not make any attempts to cover up the fact that most of their menu items come straight from Sysco. One huge negative for me is the bathrooms are a total disaster.

With NFL Sunday Ticket, this is a great place to watch football!  Monday night, they have steak night (ribeye!) all through football season.  The other food is pretty good as well and the menu is more diverse than you would expect for a sports bar.  Karaoke is on Tuesday and Saturdays and the DJ is on Fridays (for John W).  Plenty of games such as Golden Tee, Pool, Darts and Shuffle Board.  The service varies but is usually better than average.  With such reasonable prices, I've never once felt upset about the service.  This bar is worth checking out.

I've been here quite a bit, before it became T-Bones. We stopped in because I was wanting to see the ol' DJ spin the records. Not sure what happened here, maybe they switched nights but it was ANOTHER place on the same stretch of road doing KARAOKE! Blah...

The drinks are decently priced and the place is big. They have plenty of seating and its laid back. Its easy to feel comfortable here and they have waitstaff so you don't have to travel to the bar every time you get thirsty. Their food is edible too!

For the smokers there's a large outside patio that is fun to hang out on, and when it gets cold there are plenty of heaters to keep you warm. This place is a must stop if you are in the area and looking to shut down a bar.
