I'm sort of surprised this place doesn't get more average stars.  I thought it was an outstanding cocktail bar and restaurant with a somewhat pretentious name.  They had great cocktails here and a great bourbon selection including Pappy van Winkle which you can barely get out west.  I had the steak tartare appetizer and thought they made a mistake and brought me the steak tartare dinner.  Holy beelzebub was that great steak tartare.  I insisted the chef dropped some mustard or wasabi in there (which I thought was great) but the bartender insisted it was just hot sauce.  I still think I'm right.  Lexington needs to recognize this place.

Great bar service and amazing cocktails!  Our group was two couples and we had three of their specialty cocktails which were amazing- love the focus on local style and ingredients.  Our bartender was very knowledgeable about the bourbon, all the signature drinks, and wine!  I was very impressed and happy.  The food was ok- we had 6-7 apps or sides and they ranged from ok to good but nothing was truly memorable.  I'd definitely go back for a cocktail or two though....not sire I could handle three!

If this review was just for the bar, service, drinks, and atmosphere they would have gotten 5 stars but since it's mostly a restaurant I had to go with 3.

    Summary
Table Three Ten is a real gem of a restaurant that features simple yet interesting cooking with good service and decor.

    Review
We went here on a Tuesday so it wasn't too busy, though I can imagine that this place does get busy towards the weekend. The interior is really welcoming : the wood and steel decor has a contemporary yet solid feel. The bi fold windows at the front make the restaurant open, warm and inviting. Also check out the bar - it is really long as well.

A good portion of the menu was on the blackboard with around seven special dishes. The menu had a reasonable number of options.

We had the salad with champagne dressing which was simple and restrained - it had a little heat and pepper to it which is nice. Next up was the lobster mac and cheese which is not something I usually go for but it was delicious. The lobster was piping hot, tender and generous. it also was only slightly cheesy, which was smart as it let the lobster be the star of the show and left room for the texture of the breadcrumbs to be nice and dry. So often poorer ingredients are masked by a ton of cheese - not here. Balance and restraint. Finally, we had the pork chop that was accompanied by some kale and reminded me of how good a pork chop can be. It was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful crispness to it. Dessert was small and light - just the right size.

They had a good range of wines and beers - sadly no drafts so we had the St Bris instead along with a couple of other whites which paired nicely. Service was warm and welcoming.

If you are in Lexington, go directly here and enjoy. Also the Village Idiot is across the road with around 20 draft beers :)

Won me over. To be fair, my first review was the week they opened! Why don't I learn to not go to places when they first open? I've been back several times, and the menu has gotten much better. If you go for happy hour ask about the specials, they are very reasonable. You can still spend quite a bit, but the wine is so good and the food has certainly improved.

If you truly want great food and great service then this is the place. Nothing traditional about this food. It is a real modern and local spin to dinning in Lexington. I had the Steak Tartare and it was incredible. Can not wait to go back.

Great atmosphere, wonderful and creative food, fabulous dessert. Our server, Riva, was friendly and helpful.   What a happy accident that we stumbled on this place around the corner for our hotel!

Fantastic restaurant!  Great ambiance and lighting if you are with a friend or group, a little on the dark side if you are on your own and trying to read a book :)
The meal was outstanding, I had a Pork shank in bacon broth with Kale.  Yes. it was as good as it sounds.

I will return next time I am in Lexington

It pains me to have to score this restaurant as a two. I had read the reviews and expected quite a bit from Table Three Ten.

My boyfriend and I went yesterday, the Saturday after Thanksgiving, for brunch. We shared the smoked salmon plate and the steak tartare. If you've never had steak tartare, this is the place to try it. The meat was fresh and the seasoning perfect. The smoked salmon was also good, though they put salt on the salmon. Smoked salmon is already salted, so we scraped that off. Despite the salt, the food was excellent.

Unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. Our server seemed to know little about the menu or the beer and wine. My boyfriend asked for a wheat beer and our server told him that they didn't have one. He informed us that the beer menu changed weekly and that he coulndn't be expected to know each beer, especially as he didn't drink beer.

The server  then delivered our beer and wine, it was a wheat beer, and then left. We were waiting for our food, water glasses empty, and I saw him walk out the door! He didn't bother to come to our table and hand us off to another server. Had we not been waiting for food, I probably would have complained and left.

Our new server didn't seem to know we were there. She was friendly, but we had to flag her over for the most basic of things. Despite asking several times, our water glasses weren't refilled.

I won't go back, which is a shame. The food was better than good, but not worth the lack of service.

Always try to make it to Table  Three Ten when I out in Lexington. One of two places in the city that makes a great Old Fashioned (Keeneland Members Clubhouse the other) and the charcuterie is always excellent.

Tops in Lexington and when your at 310 you don't feel like its a place in Lexington.  Make sure you have them make you a handcrafted drink. Tip well as they are worth it

This is for happy hour only.

We stopped by this place while wandering around in the afternoon - we came in a bit early, and they informed us they weren't open yet. We were looking at the specials written on a blackboard on the wall, and one of my friends got very excited to see escargot written up there. Unfortunately, one of the guys working there told us those were yesterday specials and there'd be new specials, but he could possibly work something for us if we came back later.

So we came back exactly at 4:30. We wanted to order a cheese and meat plate, but the waitress informed us that only the happy hour menu was available at the moment. So we all got drinks and got the mussels and the flatbread. The flatbread was more like a pizza than actual flatbread, but it tasted okay. Where the food really shined was the mussels. The sauce was DELICIOUS!! I don't remember what went into it, except that there was BACON in there, and it was SO GOOD. Yummmmy bacon deliciousness!!! It was a great sauce to dip our bread into it. But the best part of the meal was we got escargot on the house! They remembered! It was soooo sweet of them, and we really did appreciate it. It was escargot in some sort of pesto sauce - excellent texture and flavor!

We also got dessert, because the waitress said she was one of the best in the country. I don't quite remember what we got, but it was nice - nothing extraordinary though. A nice way to finish our meal though. :)

The service was attentive and sweet. Good casual atmosphere. Overall, a great first meal in Lexington!

Hands down one of the best dining experiences in Lexington. Waiters give excellent suggestions and are know the menus forwards and backwards. Wines by the bottle are super affordable too! The atmosphere also could not be better. Very open feel. Also best bathrooms in town. There are chandeliers in them! I LOVE THIS PLACE.

I was very disappointed with my experience here and probably won't be back. I had the steak which was terrible and I ended up sending it back to cook a little longer as I was pregnant and told our server that from the beginning. I have had a better cut of meat at Columbia's Steakhouse for about $20 cheaper. We had the duck wonton appetizer which Im pretty sure made my friend and I have stomach problems the very next day. The cheesecake that our server recommended was also terrible. The service was decent. I'm not sure what all the hype is about here at Table 310. It was the worst $100 I've ever spent. I love the little Market on Jefferson and bought wines, cheese, and bread at least once a week. This restaurant was not what I had hoped for. Next time, I will stick with Dudley's or Azure.

Tried the place for the first time on a weekday: The steamed mussels and the fried soft shell crabs (both among the six specials on the chalkboard) were quite good. The green lettuce salad with whipped goat cheese and vinaigrette dressing is one of the best salads I've had. Service was attentive. The tables are close together, and the place can get loud, but if you are into an energetic and good dining experience, this is a good place to visit.

Our party of six pas seated promptly on a busy night after the Bluegrass Stakes. We sahred all the dishes over the course of our night and all agreed the food, service, and ambience were superb. I've eaten at several resaurants in Lexington over the years and I put this one at the top of the list. Dudley's a block away is another great option as well.

I was drawn here to visit the namesake of one of my favorite thoroughbreds running - TABLE THREE TEN - a 3 yr-old filly

And after being greeted by a lovely picture of her on the Maitre'D's stand, my two friends and I were seated at a table within. The place was absolutely packed, but without a reservation we were lucky enough to find a great spot.

The main courses change regularly and are written on a gigantic chalkboard near the entrance, and same goes for their beers, albeit on a smaller board on a seperate wall.

The high ceiling lends a lot of space and feeling of openness to what in actuality is a pretty small restaurant. Casual and easy-going there are some beautiful people in here enjoying cocktails at the bar and meals at the tables.

We sampled the cheeses here - which are offered on a large menu range from hard to semi-hard to creamy. Our clear favorite was the Manchester, Michigan Hard cheese. It was spectacular.

Without ever ordering an entree, all three of us walked away satisfied and full. There were delicious mussels, and shrimp skewer salads to keep us happy, along with the cheeses and fresh garlic crackers of course.

Our waiter was extremely attentive, and the entire place just made us walk away with big smiles.

You'll have a great time as long as you are good around crowds, because from what I could tell it's always busy here.

This is a good place to go In downtown Lexington for the young professional crowd. I love the atmosphere and wine selection, though the food is overpriced and mediocre. However, the main reason I am giving it 2 stars is the owner. A few of my friends and I stopped by for desert and wine this evening around 9. He became very rude when he learned we weren't ordering entrees, and told us we had to be out in 45 minutes. He also instructed the waiter to rush us. We felt very hurried and ended up leaving. Long story short, decent place except for the French d-bag.

For my first time at Table Three Ten I sampled several cheeses and meats, along with the marinated olive plate. When the food first arrived I remember thinking, "that's it?" but when you are sharing several meat/cheese plates with other people it really is more than enough food. I didn't order an entree or dessert (or wine), although it came highly recommended.

I was turned off by the fact that they will not accept any substitutions for anything on the menu, especially at a restaurant where you will be dropping a considerable chunk of change. I can also see why they wouldn't split checks given the 'family' style dining experience but it took our party of 12 a good 20 minutes to try and divide the check. Our waiter's handwriting was terrible and there was an error in his math which was fixed without any issues.

All in all the food was good but was it worth about $40? For just myself, no, not really. I did enjoy the atmosphere and I had a great time but for the prices I just couldn't bring myself to go back there again.

This place is for the sophisticated diner, who is there for good, interesting food and drink and not worried if the waitress wipes your ass every 5 minutes.  It's small (they do their best getting folks seated) but even if you have a reservation you might be waiting 20-30 minutes to sit so don't go there in a huge rush.  For Lexington's standards its pricey (up there with Dudley's and La Deuville).  If you're looking for a place to eat the best steak and potatoes (or really go out on a limb and get asparagus) then don't waste your time.  They have steak, and potatoes (and sometimes even asparagus) but its usually prepared a little different than your grandmother did it.  This is for the palate that likes to explore.  I recommend the bone marrow for a starter (if it's available) and any lamb or beef dish for a main entree.  The meat and cheese trays are also very solid. Their pastry chef was just named "Top 5 Pastry Chef" in the country by Food and Wine, so they know what there doing here.  This place has broken the mold of the usual Lexington restaurant, whose patrons are used to going to their country clubs and "favorite restaurants" and ordering the same thing, from the same person who was waited on them for generations.  The staff here is nice enough, especially the guys behind the bar who are really gifted mixologist.  The owner is french, been in the restaurant scene in NYC, so he's predictably pretentious (even if you know him) but it's all part of the staged ambiance if you're used to dining in places like this.  This is the type of spot you might stumble across if you're walking through the East Village or Tribeca so it's a real treat to have it in downtown Lexington.

Every soft often, you get lucky when traveling for business. Work ends early, Delta airlines if terrible, and you have to spend an unnecessary night away from home. So what do you do? You pull out Yelp and hope for the best.

I have been disappointed many a times, but tonight was one of those great surprises. Staying in the Hilton, I experienced enough Big Blue Martini bar to last a lifetime. I had to leave the chain hotel and find someplace with local flavor. Yelp directed me 3 blocks away to Table 310. Walking in, I was already a fan. The decor is wonderful - so minimal yet so strong at the same time. The long bar sits to the left; two sets of community tables take up the middle; individual tables are lined to the right. There is a small upstairs, as well. On this quiet Monday night, there was a wine tasting going on. If I had not had such a fun evening by myself at the bar, I would have gone upstairs to partake.

I was served by Lisa, who was very kind and very knowledgable and very attentive. She really went overboard in many regards. If there were 100 Lisa bartenders in Memphis, there would be 100 better restaurants. I know I am not alone; she had befriended the entire bar throughout the evening. She was able to recommend the perfect beer for me to unwind from a long day. She recommended a stellar lamb dish served over grains with olives and greens, that was literally one of the best side dishes I have ever tasted. She picked a few cheeses and paired them with a finishing glass of red wine. All of the food was outstanding. The service was outstanding. The decor was outstanding. it was truly a good meal.

The menu changes seasonally on the print menu. There are three chalkboards throughout the restaurant: one shows desserts, one shows wines and beers, one shows food specials. These change regularly. What a grand idea - serving only what is seasonal and fresh. Memphis needs one of these.

I am not sure why people would give this restaurant a bad review unless they prefer Logan's Road House over a fresh and creative meal.

The only negative is they do not take AMEX. But it was worth the cash.

    5 stars.

The last time I had dinner in Lexington I was a broke college kid so I wanted to go somewhere nice on our visit last weekend.  The reservation was for eight but we arrived a little early.  We got drinks from the bar while we waited for our table.  This gave me some time to really check out the atmosphere.  No offense to Lexington, but I didn't feel like I was in Lexington anymore.  Maybe Chicago? New York?  The space has a contemporary lodge feel.  It's dark and intimate.

Our table was ready at eight but we spent forever deciding what to order.  The cheese and meat options were endless, so trying to pick three of each was difficult.  I don't know that there was a wrong selection.  We ordered a cheddar, goat cheese and I can't remember the third.  They were all rich and delicious.  Thankfully these are small portions, otherwise I would have been done eating for the night.  We had salami and prosciutto for meat selections.  Again, these are small portions, each cheese or meat selection will give about four people a nice taste.

The entrees are all specials written on a big chalkboard in the front.  I'm indecisive so I got up twice to look again just to make sure.  My husband ordered the pot roast and I ordered romesco potatoes with duck egg.  I believe mine was meant to be more of a side item because it was $12 versus the pot roast which was closer to $30.  I think the chef is more comfortable fixing meat than vegetables.  The pot roast was delicious but mine was just so-so.  Also, there are very few vegetarian choices.  And most of the small plates are centered around meat, cheese or grains.  Luckily I came prepared to spend money and consume calories.  Our cheese, meat, entrees and two drinks totaled around $100 before tip.  And yes, they hand write the checks. It's cheesy but I thought it was cute.

I'm relocating from the Boston area to Lexington.  I also enjoy fine wine.  So when Table 310 popped up with a "Wine Bar" search on Yelp, I was interested.

My phone's GPS took me to downtown Lexington.  Fortunately, it was a Monday evening so no traffic.  If it was rush hour, UK event, etc. I suspect the traffic and parking would have been worse.

The place is very nice inside with tall ceilings, lots of dark wood, etc.

At the bar, some of the stools have backs, some do not.

They have chalk boards around the place with the various specials of the day/season.  Some looked very exotic (I had already had dinner so I was looking for wine and perhaps an appetizer).

The wine-by-the-bottle list looked interesting and had variety.  However, I was under whelmed with the wine-by-the-glass list.  In the reds, the "fullest" red was a Zinfandel which I thought was rather weak.  No merlot, no cab on the wine-by-the-glass.  Seriously, whether the owner likes it or not, wine drinkers expect those varieties.  They need to expand that.

I had an appetizer of crispy duck leg on lentils.  I like it.  Nice sized portion.

I'll go again to try dinner or dessert.

This is unquestionably the most creative restaurant in Lexington.  In my opinion, it's also the best restaurant, though those with a meat-and-potatoes palate are bound to disagree.  This is not the place for a picky eater, who knows what he wants and refuses to try anything else.  If you are willing to try something new Table 310 has as creative an offering as any restaurant I've been to in New York or Chicago.  It compares favorably to similarly styled address-restaurants (for some reason many of these emerging trendy, amorphoused menu restaurants frequently use their address in their names) in Louisville, Cincinnati, and Nashville.

For whatever reason, Lex just isn't a foodie town. This is one of the only places in town whose chef realizes it's the 21st century. Interesting, seasonal menu. Attention to fresh ingredients. Inventive approaches to food that go beyond boring.

If Olive Garden is your idea of good eats, then you might not enjoy Table 310. But if you didn't just fall off the turnip truck, give it a visit.

Very nice interior. Staff friendly and helpful. The beer selection is surprisingly good with some Belgian and American representation. Glassware is not appropriate. I had to send back the lager/flute glass brought for my Saison de Pont. A glass like that will fill up with carbonation. The marrow was overpriced for what we got - not enough marrow. This was the low point. The lamb two ways was very tasty. The neck exceptional. But pricey for the portion. Stella's ice cream sandwich was excellent. Great experience. A date night type of place for us.

Over hyped! They have a useless menu - a very expensive, yet limited wine list and food that is below average! The bread basket came out tiny and unappetizing - no butter/oil / dip :( and they get it out ONLY if you ask for it!

They were out of a lot of wines
They were out of 3 of 5 desserts
Lamb chops were dry and useless
Chicken hash was half a chicken breast with 3 huge boiled potatoes and a little piece of polenta.. RIP OFF!

Their menu is the smallest I have ever seen! and u would think --- Smaller menu = more attention to detail = yummier food = happy me.. BUT that is NOT what happens!

We waited for almost 40 minutes before our food came out! Our server had NO idea what was in any of the dishes - her wine recommendation sucked and she was just generally clueless as to what came off if the kitchen..!

    nah.. not for me! ;p

It was my first trip to Lexington, and after a day of bourbon tasting with a big group, I was looking for a little more low-key and trashy. We had broken off into a smaller group of about 6-8, and I was hot and tired and wasn't looking for anything really nice. Nachos, maybe. Sliders. So when our group poked our heads into Table 310, I was thinking, NO! I don't want expensive tapas--I want crappy cheap food! But I went in anyway because I didn't want to cause a scene.

I'm so glad that for once, I shut my mouth. This place is great! Our group sat at the bar, because we were "Just going to have a beer". Well, I don't like beer, so I ordered a club soda and struck up a conversation with the bartender. It was early (4:30 or 5pm), so he wasn't too busy. And after a little while, he magically read our minds and concocted drinks we didn't even know we wanted. Rosemary infused gin with lemon? Check. Muddled-blackberry vodka something? Check. It was magic.

I was still hungry, but even though it was more expensive than the crap food I wanted, I ordered something the bartender recommended...something involving asparagus and bacon, I believe. My husband ordered some sort of sausage and german potato salad. They were both exquisite. Wonderful! So great that I may take another trip down to Lexington just to go to this restaurant. You should go!

Creative delicious food in upscale atmosphere! My husband and I had dinner here last night for the first time after several unsuccessful attempts to get in without a reservation. We sat at the bar and allowed the staff and regular diners guide our selections. We started with two glasses of house red wine. Very good value at $5 a glass. The bartender then suggested the fromage and charcuterie starter. We were open and allowed him to select a sharp cheddar, hard Mimolette, a prosciutto and a dry aged salami. They were fantastic although safe choices. Next time we will be more adventurous.

For dinner we chose two of the chalkboard specials. I went with the frequent diner's recommendation of the baby octopus and chorizo skewers. A little daunting when it came out but it was brilliant. The chorizo fat melts into the octopus and creates a smoky soft texture, not at all chewy or tough.  My husband had the braised short ribs. They were very  tough but the flavor was so good he ate every bite.

We had more wine for dessert but their chalkboard of desserts looked delicious.

This is not a typical restaurant. This is an upscale gastropub that Lexington has been missing. Great value for unusual creative fun food. Expect to spend $75-$100 for two with drinks and tip. Well worth it!

4 stars for the food, 2 stars for ambiance = 3 star average

The food: we stuck mostly to the cheese and charcuterie, taking a cue from the fact that these offerings take up a good 3/4s of the menu.  We weren't disappointed.  The 7 year cheddar was AMAZING.  We also got a blue (maybe it was roquefort, I cant remember) that was decent, but the portion of it was way too big.  As for the charcuterie, my favorite was the cotto, but the prosciutto was good too.  We also ordered a dozen oysters, which were very good.  It would've been nice to know where they are from- "West Coast" doesn't really tell me much.  It'd be like saying a wine is from "Europe."  The only thing we ordered off the rest of the menu was the braised brussels sprouts, but they were so good I tried to recreate them at home.

Service: Our waitress was good but not perfect.  She didn't ignore us like other reviewers experienced, but she didn't do one huge thing that I expect from a place like this: when the cheese and charcuterie plates come out, you HAVE to tell your customers which item is which!  When I'm trying new things that are supposed to be artisanal-y special, I want to know which is which so I know what I liked and didn't like.  Yeah, I can figure out on my own which one is the blue cheese, but our 3 meats all looked pretty much the same and I'm still only taking an educated guess that the one I really liked was the cotto.

Ambiance: yawn.  I guess this place is OK for Lexington given that there aren't a ton of other wine bars.  But I don't care for the communal tables, regular tables that are 2 inches from the other tables, and I REALLY disliked that they sat us so close to the door, because every time someone came in or out we got a icy blast of the night air.  I ate dinner with my puffy coat on.  Not glamourous.  Also, when the host has to pull the table away from the other tables so that you can squeeze yourself into the booth, you know you have a layout problem!

I will definitely come back, but not on a Friday or Saturday night.  We had a reservation and still waited 15 mins for our table.  Then the table we got was not great- too close to the freezing door. Also, they sat 3 women at a table for 2 next to us,  who were screaming the entire time. I now know everything about their sex lives, great!!

When this restaurant first opened I gave it the review below this paragraph, along with a two-star rating.  I have revised that rating to 5 stars and am thrilled to be able to write, after three recent visits for dinner, that every single issue that I had with this restaurant has been resolved in an exemplary fashion.  Table 310 is a great place for a special Saturday night dinner with friends, as it was for me two weeks ago, as well as a neighborhood restaurant for a quick and delicious dinner.  The signature cocktails, the appetizers, the ever changing menu of entrees have all exceeded expectations.  The service is friendly and casual while also being fast and efficient.  In all my recent visits I don't think that I or anyone I was with had any dish that fell short. The beer and wines by the glass lists are both now quite good.  The desserts are creative and quite tasty.  A few months ago, this restaurant was like a disappointing home team that you root for anyhow.  Now, it makes me feel bad for other area restaurants.  There are no places in Lexington that can compete with table 310 in any of the categories that make a restaurant worth patronizing.  Bravo!

    My original review:
Last night I met a friend at Table 310 for drinks.  It is a beautiful space, staffed by friendly folks but it's expensive and the service is atrocious. When I arrived, he was drink in hand at the bar talking to a friend.  Despite the fact that neither of the two bartenders were it took me 5 minutes of excuse me and looking as interested in ordering a drink as I could muster to get any attention.  Once I did, the bartender was friendly and helpful.  My friend and I were shown to a table and sat for almost ten minutes without being brought menus or water or being offered another drink.  We were interested in a chacuterie platter but, after about 15 minutes we simply decided to go somewhere else.

I really want this place to succeed.  As disinterested as the staff is in actually waiting and as over-priced as it is and as limited as the wine by the glass list is, if it works this will be one of the great spots in Lexington.  If it doesn't, they  don't pull it together, then they will quickly run through the good will of those who reward good intentions.

I want to make it very clear that I very much want this restaurant to succeed.  I like the idea,   I like the staff.  I like the atmosphere, although sometimes the music is a little off for conversation.  But until the service merely seems effortless while actually being spot on, until the wines by the glass list is more befitting that of a wine bar (there are fewer selections in this category than most restaurants) until the ovens are working, it will remain a place that I'd like to like, one that I think of going to but end up not.

I'm not sure if the first reviewer has actually been to the French countryside because this place is straight outta Brooklyn. I say this because I live in Brooklyn and the bartender informed me the owners have ties there as well. I went while home over winter break and am cutting them a little slack since they had apparently just opened. Anyway, here's the nitty gritty:

    Pros:

-$3 tasty house beers. $3/beer might not be as exciting to full time Lexingtonians, but getting something other than a PBR for $3 is pretty swell.
-Who doesn't love a cheese plate?
-Friendly service. Our bartender was a champ, particularly since we were there from 6-11 and were, eh hem, thirsty.
-Decor: gorgeous, although my muscular male companion wasn't a huge fan of perching on the minimalist bar stools. And they're definitely catering to a younger crowd with that dim lighting. If your eyesight isn't the best, be prepared to read your menu with a [waiter provided] flashlight.
-Atmosphere: I was there to drink and gossip at the bar with friends, and it fit the bill perfectly. I think you could do a relaxed but romantic date there as well (did I mention how dim the lighting was?).

The only real con was that they didn't have their oven in yet, so the food options were a little limited. I didn't love the salad/soup that I tried, but was so focused on the cheese plates and beer that I didn't mind. I look forward to giving them another go the next time I'm home (when hopefully, they'll be fully running).  Overall, a great addition to the Lexington bar/restaurant scene.

I wrote a review of this restaurant soon after it opened.  The review was lukewarm. I've eaten there a number of times (many times) since.  This is by far the best place to eat in Lexington.  That doesn't really begin to cover it, though.  It may simply be the best place, period, in Lexington.  Young and old, hip and unhip, families and non breeders like myself: Table 310 is a really welcoming place without any pretensions at all.  The price of entry is a gameness for a raucous, busy, seemingly chaotic but smoothly run dining room.  The place buzzes with life.  The staff is respectful and thoughtful--as well as achingly cool and sexy.  And the restaurant's singular devotion to excellent food and drink is something of a miracle.  It is certainly a virtue to be applauded.  Beef tongue; oysters; brilliant salads of lettuce and pickled grapes; rillettes; the best pizza (OK, "flatbread") in town; the desserts alone (is there really a better taste in the world than basil pot de creme with strawberry chantilly whipped cream?).  Lexington needs more places like this.  Which is paradoxical, because it really is a one-of-a-kind place.  It's the kind of business that makes me feel proud and lucky to live in Lexington.
