Whenever I get Mexican, it's between Taco Rico and El Rodeo. Taco Rico is a much smaller family restaurant. El Rodeo offers more of the typical ambience of a Mexican restaurant. Also, Taco Rico does not serve margaritas, so if you're looking for that, head over to El Rodeo.
What I do love about Taco Rico are the tacos, go figure. The carne asada and chorizo tacos are the best and most traditional I've had in the area. Make sure to get them with onion, cilantro and lime, the traditional way.
If you're looking for a small, laid-back restaurant with some good tacos, Taco Rico is your place. If you want margaritas and a party atmosphere (and good food also) try El Rodeo.
